After getting rancid walnuts through online purchases, repeatedly, I am happy to buy these nice, fresh walnuts at Walmart. I store them in the freezer.

The Member's Mark walnuts were quite flavorful & crisp. These are not. Given the wars & climate disasters in nut-growing areas, there may be nothing that can be done about this.

Diamond Brand walnuts have been around for ever. They're always consistently good it was the brand my mother used when I was a kid. You can't go wrong.

Another good source of excellent walnuts, which I eat as a snack and include in my salads along with pistachios. And the price is right! I keep them in an airtight bin to keep them fresh. And they share the high amount of monounsaturated, healthy fats that help reduce cholesterol and fatty plaques. Very good for heart health among other things! Can't recommend them highly enough! They come fresh and unsalted which makes them much healthier.

I have become a brand fan. Their walnuts (and pecans) are delicious. Crunxhy, crisp bites, never stale. Full sizes, rarely any broken bits. Practically zero narural dust at bottom of the package. l'm a repeat customer. l did valso give their competitor (the blue bag brand) a try, and found Diamond to be the superior walnut (and especially in their pecan quality). Try, you will see.

Absolutely, a good buy. These walnuts are really delicious. Mostly whole walnut halves. I eat them as a snack. I have be reading about brain health, walnuts are a perfect, healthy snack with good fat. Really quality nuts. Keep refrigerated or freeze.
