I no longer have to be close to the outlet on the island to make a cake, icing and anything else. It is so easy and fast to charge. I love that the beaters and cord store in the connected case, I never have to search for the correct beaters. I wish I had a cordless hand mixer years ago.

As you can imagine, I was thrilled to come across the Hamilton Beach Professional Cordless Hand Mixer with Infinite Speed Control, especially right before the holidays. I own several Hamilton Beach kitchen products and have found them to be well-made, dependable, and a good value. This hand mixer is no exception. The hand mixer arrived well-packed in its own box. The mixer comes with a whisk and two beaters as well as AC power block and cord, plus a set of thorough, clear instructions, and a Quick Use Guide. Everything was foam- or plastic-wrapped and surrounded by cardboard. The Hamilton Beach Professional Cordless Hand Mixer with Infinite Speed Control measures ~7.5" L x 4" W x 6.25" H and weighs almost 2.2 pounds. The mixer body is gray and black ABS plastic and the stand is clear ABS plastic. The mixer arrived about 2/3 charged and completely charged within an hour. The Power button is located on the left rear of the mixer and charging port is under a rubber protector on the right rear. There is a gray beater trigger release in the center of the mixer on the body. On the top front of the handle is a circular LED display with rotary speed dial which lights up when the Power button is on. Below the display is a green light to indicate the power is on. The LED display shows percentage of battery remaining as well as speed indicator (Low to High). A clear plastic stand holds the beaters and AC power block. The mixer clips onto the stand at the front and rear of the mixer body for storage. To operate, fully charge the battery, then press the Power button. Next, press the center of the rotary display to show the variable speeds and battery percentage. Finally, turn the rotary knob to the right to increase speed and to the left to decrease. When finished mixing, press the center of the display and turn the power button off. The unit is powerful and mixes food smoothly and quickly; however, it is not overly loud even at the highest speed. The beaters and whisk insert and eject easily. The mixer fits the hand nicely and is not heavy to hold. Everything cleans up easily. I used the mixer to make banana bread as well as a sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, and whipped cream. It handled all the various ingredients without missing a beat, so to speak, and made the tasks effortless. Overall, the Hamilton Beach Professional Cordless Hand Mixer with Infinite Speed Control is attractive, powerful, easy to use and clean, and works as designed. I am pleased to finally get the power cord out of the way during mixing! Hamilton Beach provides a generous five year warranty on the mixer. I award the Hamilton Beach Professional Cordless Hand Mixer with Infinite Speed Control 5 stars and recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Professional Cordless mixer is a great mixer, it has plenty of power to handle the thickest batter. Being cordless makes this mixer so easy to use anywhere you need to. We have a small kitchen and sometimes when cooking or baking there might be something near the outlet and with this mixer I can move to any open spot on the counter.You also don't have to worry about the cord getting in the way or in your batter. The speed dial makes it easy to find the right speed so as not to make a mess. There is a nice clear, easy to understand display in the center of the dial that shows you the battery's charge when you first power on. Upon pressing the button in the center of the dial it shows you the low and high markings so that when you turn the dial you know exactly where you are at. The mixer will always start on the low setting. However, It does take a couple times to get used to the mixer as it seems to start at a little higher speed than you think it would but nothing crazy that is going to send stuff flying. The mixer has a good weight to it even with the battery and may even be lighter than my corded mixer. I like the ring inside that handle that releases the beaters, it's fairly easy to pull and is easier than the button on top like most mixers have. The clear storage container that snaps to the bottom of the mixer comes in handy to keep all the accessories together with the mixer. I've used it to make cookies which had a fairly thick dough down to pancakes and it handled it all with ease.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton beach cordless hand mixer is by far the best mixer I have ever owned! Its super easy to use. It charges pretty quick, and lasts awhile. The speed and power are perfect! I no longer have to worry about the cord getting in the way, or have to worry about finding a plug before hand. It comes with 2 different beaters. My favorite part is that you can store everything together in the attachable compartment. I highly recommend this cordless mixer.

It had enough power for mixing lighter ingredients, but I'd go back to my plugin stand mixer for things like biscotti and other "thicker" mixtures. The snap-on clear case to hold the 2 beaters, whisk and power cord is a great idea to keep everything together -- great storage concept. I liked the green light flashing to let me know when it wasn't fully charged. Good idea to have coverage over the hole where you plug in the power cord; keeps crud out of that opening. In the manual on page 8, you could add a few lines to record: 1) model, 2) type, and 3) series. I like that you can recycle the battery, but where can you get a replacement if needed? The 5 year warranty is great too. Turning the power on and then pushing the speed control area was a bit awkward. I didn't like having to turn the dial to increase the power, seemed like I needed another hand;) The packaging of the box the mixer came in had recyclable material to hold everything in place which is good. A corner of the box was a bit dented but I'm assuming the delivery system did that. Thanks for allowing me to test this product.

Used for mashed potatoes and made it super easy to mix. A very nice compact unit that does not take up much space. The charge is this very good. The box says it has a one hour charge but my lasted longer. It is also nice not to have a cord in the way when mixing items. Clean up of this unit is very easy to do. This is the best cordless hand mixer I have ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer arrived just in time to use it for Christmas baking. It worked very well for creaming shortening and sugar. It struggled a little with creaming softened cream cheese and sugar. I tried the whisk attachment to make icing and had to switch to the beaters as the whisk was not sturdy enough to handle the powdered sugar and shortening. It worked very well in whipping mashed potatoes. It was very convenient to not have to plug it in when using. The multiple steps to turn the mixer on takes some getting used to. The charge lasts through multiple uses. The storage container is very useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hand mixer wasn't my favorite. It didnt mix like i had hoped. Although it was great that it was cordless, it was very noisy considering. Sounded like it was struggling and i was just mixing pudding mix, (so nothing hard to mix) I do wish it was a little quieter but it did get the job done. Hopefully i will get used to it and basically it will get "worn in".

It has a nice LCD screen with the speed, and it is easy to control the speed with the dial. It has a powerful engine and I love how it has the Slow Start technology so that it does not splatter when you just put in the ingredients and start mixing. It has a nice speed and mixes everything easily. I like that it can be recharged, so no cord that is in the way. This is a perfect hand mixer that will be a staple for all my baking and cooking recipes!
