tips break easy

Purchased for my 13 year old nephew as a birthday gift. He loved it! Directions were easy and simple. Gets him away from his video game for a while. He likes the fact that he can create his own gifts for other family and friends.

This was a gift for my 12 year old. He loves it. He couldn't wait to try it out. The kit came with everything he needed to get started. I have attached a photo of his first attempt of a rose. He cant wait to try more! It is easy for him to use and understand how to properly use and care for it.

This kit looks like a good starter and as far as the materials go they are acceptable. I bought three of these for Christmas gifts. Of the three, one hasn't been used yet. On one the threads stripped with the first change of tip, following the directions and the second one the tip bent and I let it cool. Not a very beginner friendly device.

I liked it at first but when I put the second tip onto the heat gun it melted into the gun and you couldn't get it back out and it ruined the gun it's cheap if you're going to get one of these spend a little extra money to get a good one this one is no good

Love this !very creative hobby and not that expensive this is the first set I ever bought and I loved it would suggest colored pencils instead of paint for more control loved the designs it came with the pencils were great the black paper worked great once I figured out the grey side faced up would be 100% if the pen had got a bit hotter but I think its a good starter pen but I think Ill be buying a stronger pen later

It has the carbon paper in the kit to make it real easy to trace the picture on the wood. My husband is really enjoying working on it. He had a massive stroke in 2007. Right side weakness and his words are very minimal. To be able to find encouraging ideas of things he can do. This kit was great for that. If anyone knows of any woodworking classes anywhere near please let us know. I’m excited and he is too. He’s beginning to make special things as presents for family members.
