I bought this about two months ago. It broke down within 24-48 hours of installation then it took around 3 weeks to receive the replacement part. No one could give me an approximate timeframe of when the generator would be fixed

Great generator! It power our big house with a 200 amp panel, you don't even know the power is out, The stress and trouble of trying to find places to keep your food cold is well worth it!

We bought this for peace of mind and security of never loosing power. Generac achieved both. We are pleased with the generator install and ease of use. Installation was easy and fast. The generator works flawlessly.

I've had the generator for about a year and have lost power 3 times so far. The first time during the winter, power was out for about 8 hours, and the other times the power was only out two to three hours.

Be careful from whom you purchase the Generac....my supplier lied to me & then refused phone calls & e-mails, so now I use another authorize dealer/service company when I purchased my 2nd Generac & for my yearly service

I had a 22kw whole house installed 1 year ago on 7/29 and fortunately have only had to use it for about 11 hours over the last year, but it has worked great so far!

I bought the 24kw unit with transfer switch from Select Generators in late April 2025. Install went well but had bad oil leak during 3rd hour of the 25 hour break-in period. Dealer and Generac replaced the engine. Since engine replacement the unit has worked great. Only had a few small power outages since install and the generator worked flawlessly to restore home power during each outage. Will see how it does with the 2026 hurricane season. The mobile link is also useful to see hour usage, battery status and history of exercises and outages.

Awesome investment. We needed to install a generator for medical usage. When we started caring for my mom she needs oxygen 24/7. The generator was a life saver because since we had it our electricity has went out on several occasions and it switched over quickly with no problems. Thanks Generac.

When installed we were very pleased. In the past year it was only needed for a few hours but the ease of mind is well worth it. Sound is a bit loud and weekly testing is very reliable, The wifi needs improvement when the signal is lost. It is a bit difficult to reconnect. Our installer was excellent.

I bought my 22KW wifi enabled unit in April of 2024 along with a service contract from my authorized installer. For the 18 months the unit reliably performed its weekly check run along with providing power during half a dozen power outages that typically lasted from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Many times I didn’t even know the generator turned on and only found out in the monthly email report. Then we had a bad snow storm in March 2026 that knocked out power for nearly 4 days. The generator ran flawlessly. I am very happy we bought this unit.
