This is my third Generac (at 3 different locations). The process was a bit intimidating on the first one and it is a large investment, but now that I have had a Generac I can't imagine being without one. It is one of the first things I did when I bought my new place. Once installed, it is on autopilot. When the power goes out, others may struggle, move to a hotel, etc.--but the pooch and I continue on just like it was any other day. The Mobile Link APP adds additional piece of mind, as when I am away from home I can easily see the status of the generator.

I previously had a portable emergency generator that helped me through a few hurricanes. I retired a few months ago & built a house on my rural property 100 miles away. Two years ago that area suffered a couple of bad storms & the community was without electrical power for weeks. I now have my own well & electrical system. Storms as we have in Southeast Georgia will not affect me as much in the future.

We bought this unit almost a year ago. It has worked perfectly during the few outages we have had. My sister -in-klaw bought one after us and she has had power whenever the weather has knocked out power in her area.

I bought the generator a few months ago and I have used it approximately three times due to power outage in my area, we recently relocated from the Chicago area to North Carolina and was surprised on how often power goes out either for an unknown reason or storms, the main reason was worried about power failure in the winter

When initially installed I had control of functions from my phone. Soon after installation the Wi-Fi part failed and need to be replaced. At that time I no longer had control of functions from my phone and those that I talked to basically said tough! I had a generac in my previous home and one reason I bought again was I like the control feature on my phone. I have two more homes I'm planning to build, but unfortunately generac wont be first choice now…. Of course that could change if I had my control back since that was test another thing my dealer touted.

I purchased this generator about a month and half ago and we are so glad we purchased it.I has done its weekly run without any problems and we had a power outage and the generator came on and shut off without any problems when the power came back on

My power was going out on a monthly then turned into a weekly basis. I spent so much time on the phone with DTE to get daily or hourly credits for my service being down. This made life difficult with an infant and a sump pump. I invested in an 18KW whole home generator, this was the best home decision I have made. No more am I using the stove to heat in winter and window units plugged into a portable generator in the summer. With a sump pump you only have so much time to get the power to it before it fills and spills over into the basement. Oh and let me tell you, how difficult it is to set up a portable one when you have an infant that doesn't sit still. Generac, You are a life saver and I tell everyone!

Purchased in 2024 to connect with our EnPhase solar and battery backup system. Electrician did a great job and I plumbed the LP line. Checked the LP with manometer and all was/still is, good. Generator has performed as needed during the outages we get often, even when the solar array is working and below the settings for generator assistance. I perform my own maintenance and use OEM parts. The generator charges the batteries quickly to help save on LP costs. Nice to know we are covered!

A major storm knocked out our power for days, so I finally decided it was time to invest in a generator. Just having it sitting there gives me a sense of security—like no matter what the weather does, we won't be left in the dark again. We haven't needed to run it fully yet, but when the next storm rolls in, I'll feel a lot better knowing it's ready to go.

I feel more secure and safe now that I know I have a reliable product like the Generac protecting my me and my home. I have talked to many neighbors who have stopped by to ask about it and always gave it a glowing review. Get ready to get busy with new neighbor installs!
