Generator works awesome. Having to purchase an additional $30 wiring harness to connect to my Solar Controller for remote operation and trying to constantly sell me an additional subscription to get at features on the app after Ive just spent thousands on the generator makes me furious. Great Generator, too bad the marketing /sales team ruined it. As an added irritation, they bombard you with constant emails, trying to sell you on a maintenance plan. Very irritating.

I purchased this 09/03/2025 and I have been very pleased with the Generac 14KW unit so far. During the "daylight" hours, I didn't even notice that the power went out until I heard the Generator running. The first time that happened, I called CMD Power Systems all in a panic because I thought the generator was running for no reason. Embarrassing enough, the Generator was doing its job! I felt so foolish and apologized for being such a "new" panicked customer.

I bought this generator a year ago, a d if worked great until, unbeknownst to me , my solar contractors fried the control panel. When I had my contractor come out to fix it wasn't functioning. Not your fault. I "m fighting with them to psy for the repair. I just wish the app had given me some kind of notification that it wasn't working by email or phone. Again not your fault it wasn't working.

Does not work - first start up failed, battery not charging. Second attempt, motherboard failed. From installation, almost two months ago, and still not working. On start battery charging failed (dead battery), would not operate. Installed new battery and the motherboard failed. Two months and still waiting and hoping we do not have an outage. Despite informing Generac no action from Generac. Installer waiting on Generac.

Fantastic equipment. No problem running the whole house during power outage. Very easy to install and connect. WiFi hook up is now built in to the Generac generator next gen. Instructions are clearly written. Very small footprint and relatively fuel efficient. Thanks

I purchased this generator about a month and half ago and we are so glad we purchased it.I has done its weekly run without any problems and we had a power outage and the generator came on and shut off without any problems when the power came back on

Our generator was “installed” 3months ago and it still doesn't work. The unit contained “recalled” fuel system parts, and the Generac approved installer still has not been able to get the unit to work. The Generac support team has been useless, if not, counter productive to solving these issues.

I purchased my 26KW whole house generator about 2 years age. It has always performed flawlessly when needed. This provides a high level of confidence and peace of mind that having power is a non-issue and that we won't be loosing heat or AC or refrigerated foods when there is a commercial power failure.

Love it! We live in rural Alberta and it has saved us numerous times in one year! We have cattle so we needed something our well running and in the winter our cattle waterer from freezing! Not to mention we are now worry free about our home if away and still comfortable when we are home!! So glad we were finally able to purchase one!

Bought this generator about 6 weeks ago. The install was completed without any issues or concerns. Final connection was completed after gas company upgraded the meter. We had a power outage about 2 weeks after the install and never noticed the power going out. The generator started so fast there was never a flicker of the lights.
