Generac has reputation of general quality at reasonable price. I do not like the mobil app being only control you have of generator. Much more prefer the on unit control screen. Design and appearance is good, but wiring entry should have more options than the one entry point. One eyesore is the gas regulator having to be 5' from generator. This is requested by Generac not local jurisdiction inspection. This also adds to possibilities of damage to gas line which outweigh the gain of safety by placing that far away.

The unit was in the house I purchased and was less than five years old. Between years six and eight years old I've had to replace control board and the starter along with expected batteries. Working in Municipal Government for thirty five years responsible for maintaining fifteen generators of varying sizes I feel this is a high degree of failure

This is our second Generac as we recently moved to Florida and had to leave our other Generac behind. The feeling of security it provides, and the almost instant continuation of electric service to our home, is worth every penny of its price. Our Generac dealer made the entire process simple for us, taking care of each detail involved with the installation. The instructions provided were simple and clear, and they made sure we knew how to reach them with any questions or concerns we might have. Overall, the level of comfort having our Generac installed has made us more comfortable in our new home.

Love it! We live in rural Alberta and it has saved us numerous times in one year! We have cattle so we needed something our well running and in the winter our cattle waterer from freezing! Not to mention we are now worry free about our home if away and still comfortable when we are home!! So glad we were finally able to purchase one!

Had generator for about 1 year and it has run during one power outage. I run it under load every couple of months for at least 1 hour to make sure the components are exercised and to stabilize the bearings and motor generator. It is important to break-in when it's not an emergency!

Bought this generator about 6 weeks ago. The install was completed without any issues or concerns. Final connection was completed after gas company upgraded the meter. We had a power outage about 2 weeks after the install and never noticed the power going out. The generator started so fast there was never a flicker of the lights.

I purchased this generator about a month and half ago and we are so glad we purchased it.I has done its weekly run without any problems and we had a power outage and the generator came on and shut off without any problems when the power came back on

Our generator was “installed” 3months ago and it still doesn't work. The unit contained “recalled” fuel system parts, and the Generac approved installer still has not been able to get the unit to work. The Generac support team has been useless, if not, counter productive to solving these issues.

This is my second generac as i had one in my old house, the piece of mind is priceless. Every week it exercises an every time it does i feel protected

Terrible noise. A waste of money and energy for the generator to be operating when im not home. It should be easy to shut it off when im not home. Its not.
