I know the generator runs weekly, but I have never heard it! It just sits quietly, waiting for the power to go out. Earlier this month we had a large storm, and lost power. Within a minute, the generator had started, and all I had to do was re-set the clock on the microwave. Now all the neighbors are being very friendly! This is probably the best addition I could have made to our house.

We have needed the generator one time since installation and within one minute it was as if there was not any problem We used both televisions. had heat, washed clothes, cooked. It is wonderful. On returning home one day last summer we discovered the electrical power was out due to a storm. It was a really hot day. We had guest coming that evening. Thank goodness for the Generac generator. The generator worked as advertised. The house was cool. The sound of the Generac running was barely evident. THANK YOU GENERAC!

We are very pleased with our new Generac. We have had one at our last home and were very pleased with it. We like the new improved look and it also seems quieter. We know how it can come in handy when we have a hurricane because Hurricane Ike hit us and we had a/c, refrigerator, and lights.

This unit is excellent in that it provides the security of knowing that if the power goes out while I am not home, or even if I am home, all appliances will run as usual. This includes my hot tub! During the winter, this is a must! Before this unit I have come home to a frozen well pump, flooded crawl space ruining my sump pump motor. No longer will I need to worry. The unit tests itself each week to ensure it is running correctly and lets you know easily by a green, yellow or red light on the side its functioning. There was an option to have those stats sent directly to my phone but I decided against that option. Installation by professionals went smoothly and they had no complaints. Unit had to be registered and that also went smoothly. Well worth the money and I encourage anyone thinking about purchasing one to do so. Make sure to get one with the 200 amp Automatic transfer switch.

We live in an area where power interruptions are frequent. The extreme cold that we experience in the winter could cause a lot for potential freeze damages in the house (water pipes, hydronic heating system,..). Recently we had a 6h power outage, the generator kicked on automatically and started humming. All was working in the house, we watched a movie while our neighbors were waiting anxiously in the dark for the power to be restored.

FORTUNATLY,THE WEATHER WAS KIND AND THE GENERATOR WAS NOT NEEDED.HOWEVER,I WILL LET YOU KNOW THIS SUMMER IF I THE PRODUCT PROVES ITSELF,ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. I WOULD ALSO ADVISE THAT THE ELEVATION BE CONSIDERED BEFORE INSTALATION.IN MY CASE,A HEAVY RAIN MAY FLOOD THE LOWER PART

I live in the Turks Islands. We lose power frequently and we considered buying a generator for years. Luckily i waited and purchased a gereac model. When we lose power the transition is almost unnoticeable. Within seconds the power is on. We had our unit installed several weeks ago and had a local failure of someone hitting a trnasmission pole. The unit went on immediately and ran continuously until service was restored. I was very impressed in that not even our automatic light timers were affected.

The new generator came to the rescue almost immediately after installation. The power went out and the generator came on and we did not realize it right away because it runs so quietly. Then during the severe weather our power was out for several hours and we were the only family with lights and all the other amenities in our neighborhood. Wonderful!!!
