At this point, my review can only address the installer and the installation of the generator. We've not had a power outage since its installation, and frankly I hope we never have to use it. It's an insurance policy against what has happened all too often causing distress over not having water (well pump) and the potential loss of food in 4 freezers & 5 refrigerators and the further annoyance of not being able to turn on the TV & see the news. Expensive insurance - Yes, but it's comforting to know that when (not if) the power goes, our Generac will come alive!

I bought my 22KW wifi enabled unit in April of 2024 along with a service contract from my authorized installer. For the 18 months the unit reliably performed its weekly check run along with providing power during half a dozen power outages that typically lasted from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Many times I didn’t even know the generator turned on and only found out in the monthly email report. Then we had a bad snow storm in March 2026 that knocked out power for nearly 4 days. The generator ran flawlessly. I am very happy we bought this unit.

I purchased my generator when I built my new home. When we were moving in the beginning of August we had a power outage the 2nd night for over nine hours. The generator kept everything working just fine. The sales team and installers at Winchester Electric are great to work with. I highly recommend this product.

Well made except for flimsy plastic door and frame covering circuit breakers. The electrician broke mine and a different electrician broke my son's identical model. It would be nice if the factory offered a model for cold states with the battery heater, oil heater, and synthetic oil installed. Overall nice appearance and very easy to setup. I would defintely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a generator.

All weather conditions vary, yet the New England winters can play havoc on the power grid. Even though we are on the grid, we are a few miles away from the main lines, and we would lose power 3-5 times per winter season, from 1-2 days in duration. One day is not so bad, and makes the family actually spend time together, but 2-3 days of no heat, etc. becomes a little challenging in this electronic age. The Generator crossed that gap and provides whole house power during the storm even. On Natural gas (in my case) I'm not worried about Gasoline or Diesel, It auto starts, alerts me on it's performance, provides all the necessities and was well worth the investment. It's January, and we have already had three power outages, although they were only a few hours in duration, the generator would kick right in and provide a normal living environment while the crews fixed the lines. Would I do it again? I should have 5 years ago!.

Purchased the 22kw unit recently, built a pad and had it connected to service. Outside of tests, have yet to have a need for the unit to take over powering our home. Have been very pleased with the straightforward instructions and the ease of manually cycling the unit. The quietness of the running unit was a nice surprise too.

The general speaks for itself I'm enjoying it very much when the power goes off I can continually enjoy my day at home whether it cooking cleaning or whatever I do t have to sit around and wait for power to come back on and great features to keep everything running in your house. Thanks Generac

We have had this generator for 5 months and it was installed when we built the house. We had some storms come through this weekend in Mississippi and were able to use it for the first time. We were out of power for around 1 hour while we used it. It cycles once a month per my settings and when power goes out you will have power from generator within 10 seconds. When power from utilities comes back on there is no loss of power at that time. Only when you loose power, the reason is generator must warm um before it takes a load. Awesome product and for the price and performance of this unit it's a winner for all.

We have only had a short outage since unit was installed so I cannot give a full opinion on the quality or operation. Bear Rock Electric installed the unit and we were very pleased with them. From the initial phone call to the estimate to the install and after care they were great. We live on the Outer Banks and finding quality contractors is rare so hopefully the unit works as well as the installers.

We installed a 22 KW machine as a backup for our entire house. Our home is served via an 8000V electric primary cable which is direct buried from the source to transformer. We are radial fed, which means there is no backup cable that can be used to provide power should the UG cable fail. This generator will put power back to our entire home while the Power Company repairs the cable. We live at the top of a bluff in NE Iowa, and should the cable fault, it would be hard to repair the cable in a short time. Haven't had an extended outage yet, but, there will be one and when it hits, that generator is there to perform. Love It!
