we've had almost 1 year now haven't to use it yet thankfully go to know it out there just in case it's needed . power's the entire house . with full size freezer and refrigerator in the basement. plus the furnace system . a very comfortable feeling for the the both of us.

The team at Storm Guardian Generators out of Alvin, TX did an awesome Job. Got many calls about the installation dates and time. Came early on the date, (was cool with me). Got everything completed in a timely manner. Cleaned everything up when finished. And now we wait for center point, not there fault. Just had my 24 kw generator installed last week. Installers were outstanding. Other than the start run it has not had the opportunity to perform under an emergency situation. I feel really great about this product. Would highly recommend it to anyone David Carpenter

I own a 20k whole home unit.I added on to home years after I installed the unit. I need a bigger or another unit because house demands more than the 20k I now possess. What am I going to do? General is exactly what I'm going to do. Bottom line, my unit worked as advertised so I'm sticking with what worked for me. My current Generac still works great. I just need more power.

We have lost power so many times in the past 10 years. Ice storms, tornado, hurricane and one particular nasty snow/ice storm in October a few years back. We were without power for 10 days!!!! Lost all of our frozen and refrigerated food several times over the years. We finally decided to get a generator. We wanted one that powered the entire house which is just shy of 4,000 sf. My husband did a lot of research and we decided on the Generac 7042. We signed the contract back in early August of 2018. It took quite a few weeks for the generator to come in. Once it did, our contractor contacted us to set up the installation. Day 1, the pad went down along with the generator, a few days later the plumber came over to do his hook up. Once the plumber was done, the electrician came back over to set the system up and to do a test run. He took his time and explained how the system works and even set up the wi-fi and assisted with the phone app. The app is amazing. If there is an issue with the generator both the electrician and I know it even if we aren't home. It's a huge comfort knowing we have the generator if we ever lose power again.

From start to finish we were totally satisfied with both the product & the installation! I would highly recommend Generac generators, Oklahoma Generator & Larrison to anyone wanting the best in home generators.

Like many, we just installed it to back up the whole house. The ATS works cleanly and efficiently. There is a couple second delay to engage when power goes out just as expected. This unit is 100 amp output and keeps up with most of our home's 3000 sq.ft. 2 AC units and electric tankless hot water. No one should ask that much of it. But we do and the only gotcha in our setup so far is the hot water heater drawing over 100 amps. (the generator protection mechanism engages properly shutting it down, no distress to it or the house, resetting is easy, which is a plus during a black out) So in backup mode, we have to kill one of the 3 40 amp breakers to the hot water heater. We are going to get the WiFi enabled smart breakers so we don't over tax the backup generator. But I am impressed that this little guy does exactly what it is designed to do, easy to use, and pray its longevity is as impressive.

Quality built product. The automatic start up and electrical switching is a smooth and painless process. Quiet operation. It performed perfectly in sub zero temps with the cold weather package. The green light is an easy check to verify that the unit is ready for operation. ..

Most of my buying and install was a very good experience. Everyone was friendly and eager to answer my questions. My one big complaint is there was no low stage propane valve installed when the gas lines were installed.The propane company now has to install a low pressure valve on the generator at an additional cost to me. Not very happy about that as it should have been installed when the line was installed. When your sales guy comes to your house ask questions! Get everything you expect on the quote!

Finally made the leap and had the 22K installed for our home. Product appears to be well made and will provide all the necessary power to keep our large home up and running. We have required durable medical equipment and power is a must!! Installer was knowledgeable and meticulous. Two transfer switches, generator and one power modulator as well as buried power and gas lines and you can't tell he was ever here. Generator ran its weekly test right on schedule. We are ready for "old man winter"
