The installation instruction jump around . 1. Should list all required downloads/ apps in one location. 2. Not have separate little instruction in odd pamphlet's or in conctient locations #. After have the PWRView installed, I found that you had to download another app. This app would not accept the same app as the other apps for this generator and would not send me an email link to reset. I paid the electrician money to stand around with the generator running only to bedead ended, The PWRView app would not let me register

We are very pleased with this generator. We have not had a need for it yet, but are very confident that it will operate as we were instructed. We are also very pleased with the electrician in his installation. He is very knowledgeable and precise with his work.

Before my husband died we had other types of generators that he had to start and refuel. I knew I didn't know how to operate those kinds of generators, but because of living in the Ozarks where we do experience power outages I began asking people about their generators. I got feedback from some other widows about how the Generac came on by itself, and they didn't have to do anything which sounded exactly like what I needed so ... I got one. Life is difficult enough for a woman alone, and since this product makes life easier, that's what I wanted.

FYI - the only reason I gave a low score on installation is the electrician our home builder used didn't know what they were doing. Once the authorized Generac company came out and fixed the issue, we are totally satisfied. Strong storms/tornados came through our area about a month ago (12/9). After lots of flickering, at 5:16 pm our power went out. The dog and I were in the closet due to a tornado warning. By the time my husband walked across the house, the power had come back on. I thought it just another flicker, he said "No, that's the generator". It ran until about 1:50 am. We are so glad we have a Generac Generator. There may be some future sales in our neighborhood soon and we have recommended Capital Electric to everyone.

Less than 2 years old still under warranty and has not worked in 3 months. Every time service tech comes it’s not covered and still not working. Last year during hurricane it stopped working and last 3 months still not working, but cost me over a thousand $$$ for service calls - new battery& cables -circuit board due to a lizard ( how -isn’t transfer panel weather tight ) engine lifter’s adjustment. We are so happy we purchased our generator. Many neighbors were buying the Guardian Series Generac generator and raving about it. We now don't have to worry when the power goes out to not have our house air conditioned or our refrigerator not working. We love how we can monitor it from the app and see when it comes on when we are not home. No regrets and we highly recommend to have this Generac product installed in your home!

I live in an older subdivision built many years ago with above ground power running between large fenced yards. This means trees are never trimmed. A storm and we loose power. Wind? Power loss. A calm, cloudless sunny day? Those too thanks to squirrels not understanding transformers. It was late this spring after my third outage in two months, two over 24 hours, that I finally pulled the plug. Install of our 4022 wasn’t until September by Tek Electric, and as predicted the install kept the power stable for months. The first outage was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, 20 minutes before we were supposed to get on the road for a 10 hour drive. Pre-generator, I’d have considered canceling the drive and at a minimum, pre-emptively emptied the fridge and freezer into the garbage since I had a neighbor putting garbage out on Friday. As it was, I just texted the neighbor and asked if he could shut the generator off for a bit to cool down if it was still running in 24 hours. I only needed the generator for just over 2 hours, which I was able to confirm down the road with MobileLink. A much more pleasant experience than either dumping my food or delaying the Thanksgiving drive.

I live in Naples Florida were there is a high risk of hurricanes, with the Generac whole house generator I have a sense of relief knowing I will always have power. The Generac is very reliable and I know I can count on having power during hurricane season.

The product is just what we needed in light of hurricanes and winter freezes. It gives us the confidence, safety, and dependability to stay in our home when a weather event or line failure occurs. Generator Industries did a great job on installation and startup.

I recently had 22kw unit installed. All is good but have not suffered a power outage yet, only a couple of simulated outages during acceptance testing. It is quieter than expected. I am not happy that remote monitoring is available only thru cell phone connection and not thru wifi. We cannot get cell signal here like many generator users in remote areas. What were their engineers thinking?
