Seems to be an excellent product with great features. Real test will be when we have a power outage, but I really expect that it will perform as advertised. The installers, TEW Electric, were very professional. They kept me appraised of every step of the process, showed up on time and when agreed. They were very informative on when and how to operate and maintain the unit after installation. I couldn't ask for better service.

This is a great Generator for those considering a Whole House Solution. But, I was disappointed with the Mobile Link Accessory - the Local Installer could not find where to plug it into the Controller and Generac has not responded to request for Assistance - I have useless accessory at this point.

I feel so much safer with this generator installed. I have full confidence in its ability to startup whenever the power fails. As a single female with an 85 year old mother, that's important! The installation team of James, Dylan and David were amazing. It took several hours for the power company to get the power back on after installation, but the team stayed until they did. They were very helpful and courteous and worked extremely hard. They also instilled confidence!

Very pleased with our 20kw generac. We live in a rural area where we have saw power outages last up till two weeks. This generator gives us peace of mind with all out deep freezers full of meat. Runs our whole house just fine. I would recommend anyone that can afford one to go ahead and get one. I have wanted one for years just hated to spend the money for it. Was money well spent when im away at work and the power is off with a family is hard. Not anymore i can montior it right from my phone and look at the status. Family can carry on just like the power isnt off. Dont let anyone cut any corners on installation make them do quality work and everything will be safe. Thanks Generac!

We had the 26kW-7291 Guardian Home Backup Generator with Whole House Switch WiFi-Enabled installed during October 2022 for the primary purpose of having backup power during the occasional storm related, or other unforeseen power outages, that will occur while living life. Also got it for the rare hurricane related power outage that will happen living in the best State in the USA....Florida. On Christmas Eve 2022 at 1830 hours there was a twelve hour power outage! It happen to also be one of those times in Florida when a COLD weather front was moving through the state and the temperatures were in the upper 30's to mid 40's at night. Right at 60 seconds after the power went off the Generator started up and everything in the house was back on. Can you image power going off on Christmas Eve for twelve hours...the food in the over, on the stove and in the microwave and refrigerators, etc, etc. So as far as I'm concerned the generator paid for itself that night. The only issue I had was to reset the microwave and stove clocks...what a pain:). Seriously thou this Generator is great and I highly recommend it. We installed a 500 gallon underground propane tank as fuel source and after doing the math we should be able to run everything in the house as usual for at least 7 days and longer if we did get back power on several accessories.

GenTec located in Crete, IL did a thorough, clean and professional install. Starting with Tina in the office and Steve getting a timely quote to Steve Jr. and his partner on the install. Transfer switch mounted in basement , not on outside like other companies suggested and gas line was tapped in the basement as well. No unsightly lines running on the outside. If my 18 kw Generac is as good as GenTec install, I will be an extremely satisfied customer. Thanks to Steve and all his crew.

We are very pleased with this generator. We have not had a need for it yet, but are very confident that it will operate as we were instructed. We are also very pleased with the electrician in his installation. He is very knowledgeable and precise with his work.

Total Power Solutions installed ours in 2 days. Didn’t have to wait for months like the bigger dealers. Runs our 2000sq ft house completely. Looks great. Feel secure knowing we are protected from power outages. The houses now depend on wi fi and even medical equipment. We live in a hurricane area and get freezes too. Glad we got this.

Just went through 5 days without power in Michigan after a recent ice storm. My new 18kw generator performed flawlessly for 5 days powering my entire house. Temperatures got down into upper teens at night and upper 20s to low 30s on a couple days. I have real peace of mind knowing my power is backed up!

Yesterday 02/24/2019 - it happened - the power went out. Purchased a 22w Gaurdian on 10/2019. With the high winds and snow my wife and I thought that something was going to happen and at 1915 the power went down. Within seconds the Gernerac powered up and we were back as if nothing happened. Best investment my wife and I made - peace of mind. Thank you a thousand times over.
