We ordered a 10 kW Guardian to provide 24-hour emergency power to our home in midcoast Maine. With WiFi capability, remote monitoring by the installer, and automatic activation at regular intervals to keep its internal parts and processes "well-oiled," this is a great unit. The first couple of times it came on we were largely unaware it was operating...and it is right outside our kitchen window. Now, if I can only find a buyer for the portable Generac we no longer need!

I had been taking gas cans and getting them filled to run a 6500 watt generator for years during power outages from hurricanes, When i read up on Generac whole house generators and talked to some friends that had them I was sold. When it was started up and tested for the first time yesterday it was a good feeling, The unit ran perfectly and ran all of the utilities in the house including the air conditioner. It is a nice looking unit and will serve my electrical needs for years.

Just installed it yesterday, and waiting on the weekly run tomorrow. It is a great looking piece of equipment and appears to be of high quality. The start up technician was really very professional and went the extra mile to assure that it was installed correctly and safety conscience. He went the extra mile doing things that he was concerned about from the installation crew. I like in a neighborhood with multiple senior citizens age 60/93 and oour part of the neighborhood lost power multiple times last year from 8 hrs. to 14 hrs. So this is the reason I choose to install this unit. Also the Generac reputation is a standout for quality .

Swain Electric was easy to work with and took great lengths to get us the proper sign for our 2-story home. We wanted the Generac generator because of its recognizability and reliability. It took an extensive perior of time because the installed (no longer w/ Swain) did not pay attention to City requirements, but we are very pleased with the unit. It is placed out of sight and is actually quite quiet. Final hook-up and instructions on how to operate the unit went very smoothly. We were amazed how relatively easy it is to operate. Purchased a 22KW unit online and saved around $400.00. Decided to purchase a GenPad to mount the generator on. This made site preparation and installation easier. Our generator started right up (on propane) and runs quietly. We are very pleased with the generator and now have a sense of security when the next power outage occurs!

My old Generac whole house generator lasted 19 years. Since I had to replace it, I stayed with Generac because of my first-hand knowledge of its reliability. I was thoroughly pleased with the installation by Metro Electric and the professionalism of the installers. Since this model has so many more automated features, Jason took the time to explain all the new features. I really like that I can use the app to see if my weekly exercise took place.

I purchased this generator and had installed by Sentry in Birmingham. For 9 years, I have been using a Honda 2000 for power on a reagular basis about once every 6-8 weeks with power outages. Being one of 5 houses on a line that comes off main line, the power company never gets in a hurry to restore it. So nice to know, that I no longer have to worry if power outage occurs while I am at work or it is out for extended periods. I now have heat, a/c, & total power with my Generac.

My wife and I purchased our house a little over three years ago. We had great communication throughout the entire process, and I highly recommend them to everyone. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and I have convinced my two older brother to purchase generators for their houses and I highly recommend Generac!

I would like to commend the two electricians who installed our generator, Nick Blakeman and Jake Blakeman, from Great Lakes Electrical Contracting. They arrived on time, worked with the plumber and afterwards with professional efficiency. When the job was done they went through some features and directions and suggestions with my wife and I, and set us up with our wifi and the app to use. They were a pleasure to deal with in every way.

Great looking product. Installation was quick and without much difficulty. Looks great in its location and does not take away from the house features in the back yard. Glad it is installed as we are in our hurricane season. Our portable generator was not going to cut it as we need whole house operation due to our age and medical conditions.
