I live way out in the sticks so when the power goes out, we are the last ones to get the power restored. I have the 22KW whole home system. This is the best investment I’ve ever made, by far! Our power goes out a few times a year and sometimes it’s out for 7 or more days. About 2 weeks ago, we were hit with high winds and thousands if people were without power, but NOT US! The outage lasted for 6 days and we never knew it was off in the first place. When the power goes out, it takes the generator 20 seconds to start up and it never shuts off until the power is restored. In those 6 days, it used 105 gallons of natural gas, but it was worth every single penny. If you’re thinking about buying one, just do it. I promise, you won’t regret it!!

The entire process, from quotation to installation, took a bit of time due to a significant order backlog, but overall I'm happy with the process through SPS. They responded to queries and kept me informed as to status. The installers were very professional. The Generac appears to be made of high quality materials and offers several key features.

Site preparation was simple and the dealer installed this 22kw unit complete with transfer switch and associated wiring in one day. Unit performs self test once a week which gives us piece of mind that it will be available during an actual power outage.

I just got my Generac 22 Kw installed this week. The Dealer did a fantastic job, and from start (set the generator on the pad) to finish (Final City Inspection), it only took 4 straight business days. It was like clockwork with the Electrician, Plumber, Gas Co., and Inspector, one day right after the other. When we did the first Start-up, I was really surprised how quiet the generator was . I thought it would be a lot nosier than it was. I know it won't bother my neighbors when we all lose power in Central Florida during a Hurricane or other event. I am very pleased with my purchase, which I got at a great (and the best) value from my hometown Dealer.

Received about a half-dozen estimates before deciding on a 22KW generator and Mohrmann Electric to handle the installation. Felt very comfortable speaking with Fred, the owner and his son Dennis, about our needs and some other electric supply issues we had. They gave us a very fair price for the generator and installation (some estimates were for THOUSANDS more); were very knowledgeable in understanding our needs; laid out in detail the installation plan and timetable; met the original installation plan and timetable; and did an excellent job delivering EXACTLY what they promised. We also had them upgrade our circuit and electric panel to 200 amps. We were also extremely surprised by how knowledgeable and detail oriented their administrative staff were. Their administrative staff understood the entire generator, electric and natural gas plumbing installation process and the local permit processes in Huntington NY. They called in advance to schedule all the work; always told us what the next steps were and when they would occur and handled all loan application and billing needs. I was amazed at how quick this generator is to start up and continue running with the pool pump, a/c, and tv and lights all running. Living in Fla you never know when your going to loose power and now, I will never worry!!! I was also pleased that it was not super loud when running and it seems pretty easy peasy to conduct monthly tests. All and all love the generator and the installers!!

My generator was installed today by a great team, including an electrician.They worked very efficiently and explained all the features of this generator afterwards. I had it installed for my piece of mind. I hope I never lose power but, if I do, my entire house is covered and, the best thing, is that I never have to do a thing. It's all automatic!

I purchased this generator and had installed by Sentry in Birmingham. For 9 years, I have been using a Honda 2000 for power on a reagular basis about once every 6-8 weeks with power outages. Being one of 5 houses on a line that comes off main line, the power company never gets in a hurry to restore it. So nice to know, that I no longer have to worry if power outage occurs while I am at work or it is out for extended periods. I now have heat, a/c, & total power with my Generac.

We had our Generac Generator installed yesterday May the 8, 2017 and the guys who installed it were very helpful with answering all questions. We loose power quite often and this will help so not having to run around in the dark and can still cook and what ever we need to do without loss of power.
