The manual that they send out with the unit doesn't have all the electrical connections in it and doesn't give you all the information to allow your generator to fully function crappy product crappy service crappy support, if you want a generator for backup supply go elsewhere to a company that actually knows what they're doing I can produce the manuals to back it up and not make change to the generator and then don't change the manual so it doesn't work properly.

I had my generator installed yesterday (Nov 6 2021). Did my HW before purchase (read reviews and Consumer Reports) I needed one a step higher than I originally thought. But your rep/installer Steve (Accurate Power Sys) was the best! He walked me through the entire process, showed me what to hear/see/expect when it kicks on and I am signing up for the remote link so that he can see if/when I have a prob before I do. The unit is so tiny, definitely not what I expected, and I'm **so happy** to have this peace of mind. It took 4 mos to get the unit, due to COVID shutdowns, but I'm so at ease right now, on the cusp of another winter, that it's WELL worth the investment!

Very pleased in the purchase and installation process with my Generac dealer. Their experienced crew were very courteous and skilled. Installation looks great. Wife & I had trouble setting up the WI-fi. Got the generator set up, but all kinds of issues with the app. She finally called the dealer and spoke with a company rep. who stated that customers have issues with that app, and it was stated that when you can successfully install it, you cannot control the generator with the app, plus there is an annual subscription fee. We are declining, and believe the Generac app to be of no value to us.Still satisfied with our investment in our Generac however.

I cannot speak to the electronic features of this unit as I am not a techie, and we have not needed it yet due to an outage. We did not price around but insisted on an American made generator. If it provides us power when we need it, we will assume we purchased a Quality unit.

We have had our 24kW Guardian unit for just over one year now. We reside in Houston, TX area and are thus exposed to hurricanes, tropical storms, and even winter freezes. Each of these weather events can disrupt power, for a few hours to a few days, or more. I have an 87 year old mother-in-law that lives in a home just over a mile from us. Thus, our decision for backup power was as much for her as for ourselves. Our unit runs our entire 3,100 sq.ft. home, including a 5-ton AC, and a pool. Shock Doc Electrical in League City was referred by Generac and they did an excellent job on the installation. Worth every penny for the peace of mind!

This is our second whole home generator. We upgraded our home and chose to upgrade our Generac, and so glad we did! Love the Wi-Fi Feature, it's so quiet, and safety features are a bonus. Shortly after install, our power was out for over 12 hours, on a hot summer day, however, our Generac powered right up. If you live in the country or have someone with medical concerns that make it difficult to move them from place to place, don't go another day without getting one installed!

The Generic 14kw Guardian series generator is the right model for my home. Great features include the automatic switch over to generator mode, easy to understand display panel, and a Wi-Fi enabled. This is was purchased to supply power to the entire house. The local authorized dealer was easy to deal with and the staff knows the product line well. I am happy with the purchase and installation.

Didn't expect this unit to be able to run both A/C units plus the rest of the house, but it can as long as they both don't try to start at the same instant. More than I expected. I also like the mobile link as we are away a lot. Good to know the unit has exercised and that if there are any problems, the dealer gets an email and knows a repair is needed.

Our new unit was installed today by an efficient, professional and extremely courteous team. This new generator gives our family a peace of mind with the upcoming northeast winter. I have recommended this product to many of my friends hoping they will realize the value this generator will add to their home security. I should have made this decision five years ago, yet so happy it is installed now !

I had the 22kw unit installed recently. A few days after it was installed our power went out. It started up right away and we all the electrical power we needed. I recommend the unit to my brother and he bought it and is very satisfied with his purchase. I would recommend the 22kw unit model 6551 to anyone.
