I just had my Generac generator installed yesterday. What a relief to know we are now fully covered in the event of another power outage. I had a Generac portable unit for years, however with the last two power outages I was unable to purchase gas. Now we are no longer in need of gas as I have propane supply to last numerous days of constant run.

Very impressed with the whole purchasing, install and product experience. From the start of working with the sales team, to the day of install was an exceptional experience. Very impressed with the product quality and professionalism of the installers. Nice to have peace of mind in an area where power loss has been a continuous issue.

I have two complaints one is on install there were 3 holes drilled through a brick wall one for the holes there was some chalk put in but was not put all the way around the hole and a lot of it run out and had to be cleaned off the brick the other two holes was left completely unsealed. I had to seal all three holes myself. The other issue is the insulation pads in the top. the pads fell down several times the glue from the factory was vary insufficient. I bought some 3M 90 spray adhesive to hopefully fix the issue. Other than these two issues the unit seems to work great, time will tell.

I am writing out of complete ignorance since we have not had the opportunity to use our generator yet. But the fact that we are both in our mid 80's, and out in the country, we thought it prudent to have this unit installed. We have faith in the product and our dealer from "All Install",so when we need it - it will keep us safe. Barry Miller, Rixeyville, VA

GenTec located in Crete, IL did a thorough, clean and professional install. Starting with Tina in the office and Steve getting a timely quote to Steve Jr. and his partner on the install. Transfer switch mounted in basement , not on outside like other companies suggested and gas line was tapped in the basement as well. No unsightly lines running on the outside. If my 18 kw Generac is as good as GenTec install, I will be an extremely satisfied customer. Thanks to Steve and all his crew.

Never a problem with whole house transfer switch. Storms don't bother us. System has monthly start-ups to keep battery fresh. Auto warning system works great if oil needs changed or a problem has occurred. This is my second generator and am very happy.

The generator has come on with every power outage, and worked as expected. But on one occasion, after it turned off the red light came on. The code had to do with the engine rpm's, I read the manual and fixed the problem. Had we not been home and the power went out again the generator would have failed. We purchased this generator for insurance in case the power goes out, now there is always the concern, will it fail again.

Had it installed last month and although we haven't had to use it yet, and hope we don't, it's been doing it's exercise every week and reporting to our phones as expected. We live in a rural area so power outages are likely to be lengthy if they occur. Nothing like peace of mind with this unit.

Had this generator installed in September, and it has already provided power to our home during 2 brief blackouts. No more stress about not being able to get water from our well or the furnace not heating our home when it's cold! Generator starts within 5 seconds of the power going out, and is providing power to the entire house within 20 seconds. Glad we purchased it.

When I was looking at a new generator for my home - I looked around and searched many reviews. Happy to say that I chose one of the best - Generac. Even with the COVID issue going, on the team from my dealer did a great job in coming out and getting the install and start up done beautifully. The unit is exactly what we had hoped for. Looks smart, easy hook up, with just the right amount of technology added in. Thanks to the sales and install team for giving me a great product at a great price.
