We have had our generator for 3 weeks now and has ran a total of 3 hrs due to power outage. There has been no issues during this time. Installation was smooth and installers were very helpful. Generac could update software to include notifications when generator turns on.

The manual that they send out with the unit doesn't have all the electrical connections in it and doesn't give you all the information to allow your generator to fully function crappy product crappy service crappy support, if you want a generator for backup supply go elsewhere to a company that actually knows what they're doing I can produce the manuals to back it up and not make change to the generator and then don't change the manual so it doesn't work properly.

We were so glad we made the investment in the top of the line whole house generator. It was great to continue to be comfortable in our home during this most recent Texas winter storm. The team is spot on from the time they arrived until the job was finished and they left everything as neat and tidy as if they were not even here working. This was a tremendous purchase for our household and I can't wait until the power goes out. Anyone living with a well and septic knows how difficult life becomes when the lights go out! It has been four weeks and still waiting to solidify why this was the best decision ever. I'm sure it will be worth it! So, I installed my 1st Generac, a 13kw in 2006 and it ran flawlessly until I sold the home in November 2020. I just had my new 22kw installed today. What a difference in technology over the years. I love the wi-fi monitoring. These are true work horses. Super quiet, And, with an aluminum housing, No rust. Also with the engine oil heater, There are no worries of damage from cold oil at start-up. Plus with a seven year warranty, There are no worries. The added valance trim and sleek housing design are great as well. Plus two locks for added security. What more can I say. You cannot go wrong with the Generac whole home standby generators. This generator and transfer switch perform flawlessly. In less than a minute, power is restored to the whole house during a power outage. The WIFI connection is a wonderful feature. The Generac dealer knows if there is problem with the system before I do. The installation went quickly without any hiccups. I could not ask for a more thorough and professional installation. We have our basement trenched, along with 3 sump pumps. The last time our power went out, our battery backup pump ran until the battery exhausted itself. When we got home, I opened the basement door to about 5 inches of water. I fired up our portable generator and plugged in. All pumped out after 25 minutes. Works fine...BUT YOU HAVE TO BE HOME to do this. I researched whole house generators and GENERAC was the best. I now have my own. No more flooded basement plus I don't have to worry about it anymore!! I should have put one in several years ago. I'm a believer!.
