Bonney installed a Generac generator at my home and the quality of the installation and their professionalism and courtesy far exceeded my expectations. They were very clear about the cost and timeline and communicated with me on a regular basis. Also, I never felt pressured to make a quick decision regarding the contract. The particular team that came to my home (Michael, Cole, Kim and Jonathan) were beyond polite and treated me and my property with the utmost respect. I was astounded that, after digging large trenches and creating a pad, they were determined to restore the ground around the generator exactly as they found it, including redistributing the decorative bark. After the installation, Cole carefully led me through the information I needed to know in regards to assessing the generator's status and how to reset it if necessary. I cannot speak for Bonney's other services, but am confident that they excel in those areas as well. All in all, I would recommend Bonney above any other company in my area and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

The generator is good, I do wish the generator and the transfer switch were painted the same color. I know its minor, but it bothers me. The gray color of the transfer switch blends in well with my house siding. I have my generator installed near my a/c units and they are all gray, but the generator itself stands out with its beige/tan color. I also with it could be a little more quiet and the sound proofing on the generator lid does'nt stay in place very well. Every time I open the top cover the sound proofing has fallen down.

Relatively simple to install and hook up to my existing ATS, and LP tanks. Still haven’t been able to interface with wi-if, though. Generator attempts to access my neighbor’s wi-if and doesn’t seem to recognize mine. Will keep trying to connect, but this is why I gave four instead of five stars.

After last winter storm that left us cold and dark for several days we put a generator to the top of our home improvement list. Being old enough to know better we dismissed portable models that would have required frequent fueling and many extension cords. A semi-permanent model with manual start and transfer switch would work but again, as we get older the trips out side and to the basement could be hazardous, particularly in the dark. We decided on a "whole house" automatic model. Generac repeatedly came up as a popular option. Researching products I found they had been in this business for many years and had developed a scalable design with a range of power output. Reliability of a mature design is very good and was a high mark for us. There are several local dealers so service and repair is assured. The generator unit has high quality fit and finish, no tangle of canbles or ill fitting panels. The sound level during self test mode is less than my neighbors lawnmower. Suffice to say we are sleeping easier knowing the lights and heat ( or cool in Summer) will stay on.

We lost power for 50 hours in the Texas 2021 ice storm and my 22 kw propane fueled generator didn't miss a beat! We have had it installed 3 years now and even with blue bird weather we will be out of power for 1 to 4 hours. As a retired electrical engineer I have installed numerous generators larger than my 22kw set but reliably is equal to offshore living quarters gen sets. It is easy to maintain. Great piece of mind having one installed.

Just built a 6,000 sq ft home on the main street in historic Hot Springs National Park Arkansas and this unit will do the job. Installed reasonably easy and tested perfectly. Looking forward to never using it but given our history here and ice storms fell I will be calling on next winter. I feel better knowing it's there

We decided to move forward and invest in a home generator for the Gulf Coast hurricane season.Never would I have imagined having to use my generator for the 1st time ever in an Ice Storm in Houston Texas where temperatures were a record 5-9 degrees Fahrenheit. (Coldest temperatures in 90+ years). We were victims of the infamous Texas Freeze (Feb. 14-20) and were without power for 5 consecutive days and temperatures were below freezing 4-5 consecutive days. People literally lost their lives during this storm. I am blessed to report that our Generac supplied power to our entire 4,300sq ft home and we had heat at 78-80degrees, lights, water ( no frozen pipes) internet and all accessible electrical appliances and never lost a beat. My mom is 85 years young and I can’t imagine what might’ve happened had we not been protected by God and our Generac home generator. It’s money well INVESTED!!!

Installed the 22kw whole house transfer switch generator at the completion of the construction of our new home. First time having a system like this to keep the power on. It sure adds happiness to our family living in Florida where high humidity and high temperatures during Hurricanes when the power is out will keep us comfortable.

The 24KW Guardian is a perfect match and will handle everything we have during an outage. We used Current Electrical Services (Lacey Springs, AL) for the purchase and install. They were the best price out of four Generac recommended companies. Mike Coons was very thorough when it came to explaining capabilities and answering questions. Patrick and his crew only took 5 hours to install the generator and transfer switch. They cleaned up before they left. The install looks great!

Bought this generator a few years ago and have done annual service. It has failed all three times it was needed. Local dealer has looked at it, but doesn’t have a clue. Do not buy this product, it will let you down when you need it!!! Generac will just send you to a dealer, no ownership. Expensive product, completely useless!!
