Meets Expectations

Although I am waiting for the gas company to get the fuel lines ran, the installation came off without a hitch. Relaying on the Generac reputation, I am expecting it to run reliably for years to come. As an electrician that has installed several other brands, this was a easy installation. Thank You Generac for a no hassle purchase

Impressive and Better Than Expected

In anticipation of the purchase, we knew it would be as if we were buying a new car. Family and friends who had it encouraged us and we were not sure where to go to make the purchase. We were absolutely amazed at the company where we bought the system and their support of the products. We are relieved after the installation and look forward to years of great service of the new product to maintain operations in the house when power outages occur.

Powerful unit in a small footprint....

I was pleasantly surprised by the relatively small size for such a powerful generator. The unit is WIFI connected to my phone and set to exercise at noon, every Wednesday, timed with the air raid storm siren testing... The unit exercises at the full power setting and is relatively quiet... The generator cover has sound insulation and insect screens at all the louvered vents which I was happy to discover since the generator seems to attract bees for some reason.... This will stop them from nesting inside the enclosure.... The motor / generator placement in the enclosure looks well thought out for easy service... I'm very satisfied with my purchase so far.... I hope the MobileLink app can be updated to provide more meaningful generator parameter information e.g. RPM, Hz, Utility volts, Output volts, Kw output....

Good looking unit with all the right features

Packaged well, installation was straight forward, I think that it was very cheap of Generac to not include that four little plugs for the lifting holes. Further charging $17.00 for those little plugs was just stupid on your part. I just chalk that up to a "gotcha" on my part.

We now have peace of mind!

We live in a semi-rural area that has frequent power outages. They aren't normally for that long of a time period, but we have well, septic and a sump pit that runs constantly, so time can be crucial. We don't want our basement to flood. Also, our main heat source are baseboard heaters, (we do have two gas fireplaces and a heat pump unit as well), so again, we have peace of mind in the event of an outage. Rick Todd and his crew from Greenfield Power were amazing, the installation went very smoothly. He had it very well coordinated with the electrical utility, the ESA and his sub-contractors. I would highly recommend them.

24Kw Whole House Generator

Very satisfied with the Generac 24Kw whole house generator. We looked at other brands but for dependability and price the Generac was the best choice. DM Electrical and Construction was our chosen contractor and we were very pleased with them from start to finish.

Trustworthy Confidence Builder

We had a similar Generac Generator in our previous home and upon moving into our new home in a new state where storms and power outages are more common, we naturally decided to once again add a Generac Generator. Our experience with these products has been very satisfying and makes us feel more confident and protected. Very pleased with the product and that this company stands behind the product and supports their installers.

Perfect generator for my house

I used Generac website to find a certified installer and found one in my neighborhood. They came out and done a whole house evaluation to determine my power load and suggested I needed a 22K model 7043 along with a 200 amp smart module for my 2645 sq foot home . I can’t stress enough you should use a certified installer to cover the Generac warranty. I have seen some of the bad reviews due to shabby institutions and they have nothing but problems which are not covered under warranty and the people had to pay to have a certified Generac installer to fix the problem. If they would have done that from the start their wouldn’t been any issues. I used McQuagge Electric Company here in ST. Cloud,Fl and there installation included the 3in hurricane pad, battery, 200 amp automatic transfer switch, along with a 200 amp smart module plus permits. Since I already had Blossman gas bury my 250 gallon propane tank for my spa heater I had Blossman run a line to the generator also. McQuagge Electric Company even checks to make sure the propane line is correctly installed before they even do a test run. They check anything and everything to make sure there are no issues, very professional company. The cost of the generator, hurricane pad, battery, and smart module cost as much as the installation. Which was not cheap but you Get what you pay for . Since the complete installation is not done yet I cannot comment on how good the unit works. I will do that later. I called Generac and received a 7 year warranty since they were running a ad on TV.

updated generator to 22KW

I had a smaller generator, not a Generac, that did not power whole house. I purchased 22kw from local dealer, Home Power Systems. They were servicing my previous unit and was happy with their responsiveness. The new unit was installed promptly, as promised and the work was quality. The unit performs as they told me it would, powering all appliances and air conditioning. My only concern is that I have not been emailed, as yet, the link to activate the Mobile Link app to monitor unit via WiFi.
