Generator running on LP is a little loud, but performs well. I would like to see more features for the mobile link: Let me start off by saying, Mobile link is decent for a free application. There are so many things they could have done better though. All the functions on the Generator Control pad for number one. It's linked to my GEN, why can I not control any of the functions of it. Second and most important to me, what load is my generator running at? Can I add more? Now I have to go buy a separate digital load device to monitor. Over all I am happy with the GEN and APP/Software, just wish they would have put more thought into it. Overall Generator runs great with no issues and you definitely can not beat the 10 Year warranty they are offering right now!

Great installation job by the company I selected. Only twice has the generator kicked in but each time was a source of relief knowing I had power. It is the 22kw air cooled and seems to power the house entirely, at least the appliances I had to use and the cooling/heating system. Lag time was approx 30 to 1 min but there was power thereafter. Just long enough where you do have to reprogram the clocks on the microwave and stove, etc. The generator is situated in a nice outside structure which seems durable. I also liked the fact it was bolted to the cement and there was a shroud that covered the bolted area. It is associated with some noise but is markedly different from the portable generators (my neighbor has one and I can hear it clear across a field at least 200 yards. Appears to be low maintenance with the generator cycling to check itself I believe twice monthly. I have yet to see it cycle. Will contact the installation company when oil change , etc is needed. Overall, I believe it was worth the investment for piece of mind and also safety and comfort. So far looks good and works great.

Better than expected. I especially like the WIFI and the fact that the firmware is down loaded automatically. It would be nice to have some additionally functions such as the output load in Amps or KW. I hope to see some additional options in the future.

It wasn't the cheapest generator install at close to $10k, but after this latest Noreaster in Virginia with the high winds knocking out power, it was worth every penny. We decided to invest in one after repeated power loss during times when we shouldn't have lost power at all. My 3800 sq ft house is powered by the 22kw model powered by unlimited natural gas from my meter. The power was out for almost 2 full days. While everybody else without a generator in my area had to move into a hotel, we were enjoying all the amenities, minus cable of course, without interruption. With kids, it paid dividends and then some to be know that we had unlimited power for as long as it took them to get the power back. With well water and sump pumps, you absolutely need power or the house is essentially useless. Thanks Generac!

Our installer (Power Tech) was outstanding to work with. They made all the arrangements with the power company, gas company and inspectors. They ever brought some other electrical appliances up to current code. I would recommend them and the Generac Generator to anyone interested in having this type of insurance for your home!

The installation and initial burn-in went very well. We ran our ground source heat pump in A/C mode to give it a good test and the 26kw unit was up to the task. We are confident that we can travel without concerns for our pipes freezing while we're away. It could be improved if there were a way on the App to configure it to send email to the owner when a new item is entered into the History Log. As I write this I note that the unit has been off-line via wifi for the past 10 days and I had no idea.

Had a 7 kw Mil Bank generator for 11 yrs started to have a a lot of trouble with it they went out of business so nobody works on them , purchased a 14kw generac just had it installed today 2/8/22 so have to wait and see how it works, the company that installed it did a excellent job.

Team arrived on site at the set date and time. They explained the entire process including the placement and power outage time. After the work was completeted, they explained his everything worked and went through a simulated power outage. Everything worked like a charm. The operation if the unit is virtually automatic. Everything in the house can operate with the generator running. Job well done, happy with my results!

The generator is unobtrusive and the sound it makes when we were without power was welcome (as were the lights and HVAC)! The mobile link feature, however, needs to be improved (set up was a challenge even for someone with a technology background). But that is a minor complaint compared to the security of having power when it is needed.

The process was absolutely seamless from the initial inquiry to the actual installation. I was kept informed evry step along the way and I am completely satisficed with my new whole home generator. I look forward to piece of mind knowing I'll always have power, no matter what mother nature throws our way.
