James, Dylan, and David did an excellent job of installing and testing our new Generac system. They were courteous, skillful, and very knowledgeable in this installation process. We look forward to our new system providing comfort and peace of mind in our Florida weather.

I have only had this generator for 3 months but it has already worked flawlessly during a 90 minute power outage. I got the cold weather kit (Chicago winters) and the mobile link app which sends status updates to your cell phone/tablet/pc so you can check on status while you are away from home. Just make sure you hire a professional who has good reviews for installing these since there are some complexities. I also had the gas company install a larger meter since in the winter with furnaces running there would not be enough gas volume to power the generator and two furnaces simultaneously (just a phone call and $100 to gas company). Generator looks good and runs more quietly that I expected (about same level as a lawn mower). After incurring $20k in water damage from a recent storm when the sump backup battery ran out of power (18 hour outage) I thought this would be a good investment.

Our generator was installed a couple of weeks ago. I cannot praise the guys who sold and installed the unit highly enough! We're hit by a natural disaster (tornado, hurricane) and lose power from a few days to weeks about every 2 years. We're due; however, this time we are prepared! Now, when the weather turns ugly, we don't cringe and worry how long the power outage will last. The peace of mind is worth the cost. I highly recommend purchasing this unit. .

I Have Been completely Satisfied with this total experience. The waiting for the Permit took longer then it should, but that's not your problem, good old government. The delivery and setup was great. The Installation crew were exceptional. Everything was neatly done and explained it as they were going along. they kept the site clean and left it that way. Mr. Russell came they next day and went thru the setup and operations procedures and then got it up and running. His unique personality and manner made it easy to understand. He took his time to make sure we understood everything.

Rescom employees were all very helpful and professional. Can't wait for the power to fail and our Generac to kick in! We have only had it for 5 days but know it will last many years. We have a twice-yearly maintenance contract with Rescom and a 7-year warranty from Generac.

Bought at a common big-box home improvement store for $1800 and change (including the upgraded 10 year warranty)....much cheaper than the staggering $4899 suggested list on the website. Installed easily. I did it "hot" so as not to need inspections or involve power company by pulling meter. Spent about $150 on some flex conduit, wire, fittings, etc. Had trouble getting it to connect to WiFi,. Spent two hour plus long sessions on phone with customer service ladies who were clearly working from home. They were nice ladies... friendly and did their best, but they were clearly working off a script or flowchart, and I would rather talk to someone who has had their hands dirty installing one before.. Ultimately she told me i needed 2 GHZ wifi when I was using 5 Ghz.. Bought a repeater to separate the bands and now I'm good. Also bought the option lifting hole plastic covers for a better finished appearance.

The manual that they send out with the unit doesn't have all the electrical connections in it and doesn't give you all the information to allow your generator to fully function crappy product crappy service crappy support, if you want a generator for backup supply go elsewhere to a company that actually knows what they're doing I can produce the manuals to back it up and not make change to the generator and then don't change the manual so it doesn't work properly.

We decided to purchase a whole house generator after the February 2021 freeze in Texas. We looked at several companies and generator brands and choose a 24KW whole house, Wi-Fi Generac. It will support our heating and cooling unit, as well as anything we may need should the power go out for any reason. We signed the contract in June and the final start-up was January 5th. A long time, but it was worth the wait! The unit is top notch and we are very happy with the product and the company that installed it. We do have one suggestion for Generac, why not make either put your logo on both sides of the unit or make both a left hand and right-hand installation so based on where the unit is installed in the yard, your logo shows. We had to install ours on the left side of the yard, so the exhaust blows away from the fence, so the Generac logo faces the fence. If we faced it with Generac showing the exhaust would blow into the eves of our house....just a thought/suggestion.

This product will run my entire house. The company that did the installation did an outstanding job. The installers were confident, friendly, knowledgeable and I felt totally comfortable with their work. They were on time for their set appointment times, if not early, and explained the features. I have dealt with Generac in the past and am confident I will receive the same quality from this unit.

Features, appearance, quality, and the installation work was beyond what we ever imagined. The unit speaks for itself. We did our research, and without a doubt GENERAC is the way to go. Elan Electric was the company we hired to get the job done. Kudos, to the team! Josh, and Tom and TJ, professional, and very informative. Never got old when we had a question, and we had a lot of them. they were rated FIVE STARS when we found them, WE give them another FIVE STARS, BRAVO to ELAN ELECTRIC TO A JOB WELL DONE.
