Couldn't be more pleased with the installation contractor, the workmanship and timely installation. Without a word of a lie, the generator came online and provided the 'whole' house with power - with a utility outage less than 48 hours after the commissioning of our system. Great unit - reliable!

Because we live in Connecticut where Eversource is a terrible supplier of power since every major storm knocks our power out for about 6 days, this unit has been very reliable since we had it installed in 2010. We have had three power outages of 6 days in that time, the latest from Tropical Storm Isaias which knocked out power for over 700,000 customers this past week. The generator started and ran for 6 days with no problems as it always has, powering 80% of our home with a steady, even supply of power. We have two propane tanks holding just over 200 lbs. of propane so the generator can run for 6 days without a refill. After six days we get the oil changed and the tanks refilled so it can go further, but usually right when we do that the power is restored. So this generator has been perfect for us. The unit has been hit by lightning once (we live on a 600 foot mountain on the top of it) so the motherboard has been replaced, and the engine recently needed to have its rubber oil seals replaced as it was leaking a little oil, but besides that the unit has held up tremendously well. If we need to replace it we will definitely buy Generac again as we have many times over saved a lot of money by not needing to go to a hotel when our power is out since we live on well water and without water - you cannot stay home very long even if you stock up on it.

If you think by just buying a Generac backup generator, you’ll receive the extended 7 year warranty, you’d be wrong. You absolutely MUST follow certain “rules” to the letter. If you don’t follow a strict set of criteria, you will not qualify. I think their procedure for this is very misleading. Not very customer friendly in this respect. I did my research thoroughly and still didn’t qualify because of nitpicking. Sad! Other then that, I have no negative feedback.

Optimize was better than imagined - from initial appointment with Andrew to efficient installation with Christian and the team. We are extremely pleased; and, we highly recommend Optimize folks to anyone in the Baton Rouge area! Thanks for having such highly professionals to serve our community.

Guardian 22 KW GenSet plus 200A ATS installed by Doug Williford and Sons at lake house in Sabine County Texas on 2/28/2022 with no problems. Propane System installed next day. First test came a few days later when we lost utility power for 30 minutes. Gen Set started up and powered house just fine. Shut down as expected when power was restored. Great addition to the lake house. Only issue is it took 10 months from time of order date to install date. Suggest you start the process real early. Doug Williford and Sons was great to work with.

This brand new unit installed yesterday, 12/23/24, will not stay running and smokes after a short lived start up. Shows a code of 1207. Panel light on, power light and auxiliary switches are on. Air cleaner duct not attached, back rail of unit bent and unit has small dents upon receipt.

I had a 16kw generator that got damaged by lightening and replaced it with the new 22KW model. It is quite an improvement. I love the way you can disconnect loads. This is great for me because I have AC and would love to automatically disable it if necessary. The installation was easy and the appearance is great. I have it out by the pool house and can barely hear it running Highly recoomended!

I looked at a lot of generators, and this one I was most impressed with. It has all the bells and whisles that I was looking for. With the 200A transfer box I didn't have to pick and choose witch breaker to use, it fires up the hole box. We had a 2 hour power outage last night and the generator started up around 20 seconds, and it was like the power didn't go off. Very happy!!! MM

In our former home, we had a 20kw Generac Guardian. In our new home, we now have the 22kw model and it is even quieter that our previous unit. Plus, we have the the Cold Weather Kit. Our older generator never failed to start, although sometimes it did crank a time or two before "kicking over." With the Cold Weather Kit, I now can sleep with both eyes closed. Tom M.

I was impressed with the planning and professionalism each step of the way, including helping me compile the package required for HOA approval. Final install happened 2 days ago and went off without a hitch. Demonstration of operation was helpful and straightforward. Unit ran well and powered everything in home as advertised. Nice peace of mind living in SW Florida.
