Recently installed 22K generator on new residential construction and finalized hookup with electrician and plumber on July 1. When I asked if they were going to get it set up they both said they just install their part and said to call Generac. I called customer support this morning, July 2 and when I told this wonderful lady what I needed, she said we can do this over the phone. We registered the unit and she was very professional in getting the information and where to find it. I then went outside to the generator and she walked me thru the set up in a matter of minutes. She then reminded me if I need anything else, we're here for you 24/7. What a great experience and greater customer service. Hats off to Generac for this outstanding customer service representative.

I had my 14 KW generator installed in late September 2022 after ordering it in March 2022. In my opinion, it has already paid for itself. Over the holidays in Maine, we lost power mid-day on December 23rd and didn't have it restored until after noon on the 25th. Without our generator, our Christmas probably would not have been much fun. Instead, we had heat, running hot water (we have a well with an electric pump), and light. We were able to bake cookies and watch holiday shows on TV in the middle of the power outage. The Generac system worked flawlessly both turning on and turning off. I honestly couldn't recommend it more.

Overall great features. Love it. Only problem is unclear directions on menu setup. Needs to be easily planned out directions from Generac, more clear and concise. That’s the only problem I had. Would recommend and would buy again. Called in to customer service and Wendy was a great help.

I purchased this generator 6 months ago and have spent more time down than running. First was the loss of rpm and won't start on a maintenance run and next the one and only time I needed it the transfer switch failed cause the factory did not fully seat the transfer coil cables. Now after I finally get the new transfer switch test it out and then today on maintenance run I get the great 1505 code and will have to wait again for a service call. Another 200 dollars to have someone come out. I hope the power doesn't go out again. Looking back I wish I never went with Generac, do your research.

This is my second purchase. The product works well once it gets going, but not all installers are particularly well trained and the setup configuration through the wireless and internet proved very tough. In fact, my second one still isnt up and running after a couple of weeks

We purchased the 22KW Guardian whole house generator. We are very pleased with it's performance. We have had it for about a week and already the electricity went off last night and the generator worked perfectly. Never Dark Carolinas installed our generator and propane tank and we were so pleased with their work ethic and professionalism. We highly recommend them.

Just recently purchased our whole house generator from Beacon Electric, to ensure power available during numerous storms and hurricanes on the Gulf Coast. Installation was completed within weeks of purchase by a very professional team. We had compared Generac against proposals for 2 other whole house systems and they provided best value for the money.

I am very pleased with my 22kw generator. How ever the company that installed it did not do it to local codes and now I have incurred the additional cost to have the installation redone. Haven't recieved an answer for the company that installed my generator.

The purchase, installation and certified startup went very well. The first year of service with five hours of run time required three warranty visits by the certified startup company. The first warranty call was due to the generator over cranking and loose bolts on the frame. The certified startup company addressed these issues quickly. The second warranty call was due to an oil leak. The certified startup company found loose hose connections around the engine and cooler. They replaced the factory clamps with adjustable clamps. Once again they did a great job. The third warranty call was due to another oil leak. This time the certified startup company found the front engine seal leaking. This was a major repair as they had to remove the entire end of the generator. Once again, they did a great job. At this point, I started asking questions about the warranty and extended warranties. I was given the warranty registration details from the certified startup company and was told to call Generac. I called the main number and was told to call the power group as they handled extended warranties. I called the power group and was told my generator was not registered to call the main number again. I called the main number again and they stated the generator was registered and to call the power group again. Well after many calls I realized I could not fix their departmental communication problem and gave up. I do believe Generac is a good company which is why I still recommended the product. However, I would highly recommend reviewing other manufacturers offers, as I unfortunately found afterwards that they have better warranties and very good reviews as well.

We have our basement trenched, along with 3 sump pumps. The last time our power went out, our battery backup pump ran until the battery exhausted itself. When we got home, I opened the basement door to about 5 inches of water. I fired up our portable generator and plugged in. All pumped out after 25 minutes. Works fine...BUT YOU HAVE TO BE HOME to do this. I researched whole house generators and GENERAC was the best. I now have my own. No more flooded basement plus I don't have to worry about it anymore!! I should have put one in several years ago. I'm a believer!.
