Weekly test runs are going fine: starts on time and idles low after a short run at full speed (so it is much quieter). First power outage and the transfer switch, generator and power supply started, ran and shut off seamlessly. Impressive. The only improvement would be if it were not that loud: can be heard clearly in the house and even might affect level of speaking or certainly could affect getting to sleep.

Had 15 different power outages in the last 12 months and some outages lasted days. We have had no power outages yet sense we bought and installed the Generac generator. Now when storms come I'm not worried about power loss but I am scared of tornadoes.

I'm so thankful I purchased this generator my daughter had been wanting me to buy one for a few years . Me being afraid to step out on faith thinking we couldn't afford one. So we prayed about it God heard our prayers and sent the right salesmen to talk to us about it. I almost called him and told him not to come but a small voice dropped into my spirit and said just listen to what he has to say and the rest was history.. so thankful I listened and didn't make that call to not come and tell me about this generator... We are so thankful and it's at a price that we can pay without a struggle... Yes God will always get the glory from us. . GREAT INVESTMENT to our home. Thank you all so very kindly. I was hesitant to purchase this at first. My wife insisted that we do. Since purchase we have had 2 major storms and the Generac has performed flawlessly. The whole valley was without power for 2 days and we were eating popcorn and watching Netflix. I will say that we can hear it running when it comes on, but it's a small price to pay for comfort.

Installation was very smooth as the electricians and plumber know this product inside and out. They were courteous and professional and answered any question I through at them. They went though how to manually start, transfer and test the unit as well as the app. The generator it self has a very clean look and is quieter than I imagined. K&B Energy out of Livonia Michigan. I highly Recommend this company. They were not the cheapest and it was scheduled about a month out, but let's be honest… you want a busy contractor: they're busy because they do good work. You don't want the cheapest: why/how can a company be cheaper than others? Because they don't do good enough work to get enough work. K&B was the smart choice for me.

I just had this whole house generator installed to my delight. It works seamlessly with household with low noise level. I can run everything in my household without interruption. The only difficulty was using their APP since we are not very Teck savvy.

We have had the unit for about 10 months. It now tests twice a month for 10 minutes self checking and keeping the oil moving around. We had an outage the week after it was installed while we were away. I received a notice of it working, via the app, as it was supposed to do. We have had two other outages last year. The unit performed perfectly. So far so good! I had a year of complimentary wireless coverage. I just signed up for the next year. While not really a cheap benefit, it is nice to have. I may change to testing once a month later. We used to have outages every other month around my neighborhood due to weather, trees and old lines. Consumers has done a good job of cleaning up the lines and overhanging trees. The outages are fewer now, but as an older person, I now join the group of people that are more susceptible to cold, heat and less flexibility in dealing with the inconveniences of power outages. Our Generac should make things easier!

Installed two months - 1 power outage - unit failed. dealer has been out 8-10x. new motor, new wiring harness. every sensor has displayed multiple faults. total piece of junk. I have had a green mobile link status 2 days out of 2 months. At this point Generac should be refunding me my money and removing this unit! it has never worked. think there are serious electrical / computer issues with this brand. all my neighbors that have generac told me it took several months to get them sorted.

The WiFi doesn't work. It never did. I did everything I could on the home end of things but no dice. This also happened on the second unit as well (I purchased two). So I'm sure it's a good unit but it does me little good if I can't “see it” without actually going to where it's located and popping the hood. Maine winters make that an issue.

We bought this 24KW four months ago and was only able to get it installed a month ago. So far we're very pleased with it. We bought a 22KW Generac 20 years ago and got a lot of usage out of it in south Louisiana. Back then it was referred to as a "whole house generator" but we soon learned that didn't mean you could run "everything" in the house on it. It running under a load because of a power outage and my wife was running the clothes washer, dryer, microwave, the electric oven and all the lights at the same time and it handling the load just fine until our 3.5 ton AC kicked on and it started to bog down badly. Lesson learned!! We have only used this one in the exercise schedule and not under a load yet. It is quieter than our old one though.
