No news is good news. In the almost 1 year since we purchased it, no power failures, thanks. It faithfully runs 5 minutes every week to let me know its ready and willing when the time comes. Hope it continues on that cycle, best investment I ever made.

This generator installed in September 2016 by and authorized dealer. Since then, we've had two power outages and the unit functioned perfectly both times. It's not too noisy (something we appreciate during the weekly self-test) and seems to be very fuel efficient. We have a 22 Kw system, and have been able to run pretty much everything we wanted when it was in operation. Overall, we're very pleased and wish we had gotten a Generac sooner.

This is a company that keeps you in the loop. I had ongoing communications with them on installation, training, and follow-up. Terri, in the office had so much knowledge about the process, she was my go to whenever I had a question. Whole house generator is pricey, but you get what you pay for and this gives us peace of mind.

Last year we had a very bad winter for power outages. My husband was very sick and got very upset every time I had to carry 5-gallon cans of gas to the house for our old generator. My brother in Ohio had had a Generac generator installed and loved it's ease of operations as he has MS. We decided to go the same route. The week it was installed my husband died, he never saw the finished job. Two weeks later we lost power and it worked great. It was one of the best things we ever did. It also adds a great selling point when I go to sell. In our area we have power losses many times a year, some times for weeks..I also found out we have one at work now,too............ am so happy with my generator works great cycles once a week, like I set it to. have already had a couple of power outages and barely have a blink in power.. works great . would advise everyone to use the generac produce great price for a quality produce

Actually, aside from it looking good, We have no idea how well it works. We have not had any type power outage since installation. Further, we have attempted to "be there" when the unit initiates its bi-weekly "process". As yet have we heard it start up. Therefore, we're unsure if it works. We've contacted the consultant and he checked the time & date and the schedule and pronounces it "good to go". so, at this time, we are in a "wait & see' mode.

Living where power goes out often, it is much easier going to sleep or leaving home knowing this machine has my back. It does it's routine check once a week letting you know it's fine and has a green light that lets off a soft glow I check for out my window before turning in. A great investment.

This is my second Generac over the last 13 years. Besides the one malfunction I had on my last generac both generators haven't missed a lick. Very dependable! I would buy another one if needed. And would recommend this generator to anyone! Thanks for everything!

In the modern age, we live in, a disruption in the delivery of electricity to once home is inconvenient at the very least. Installing our new generator was a great decision, and one I value every time a storm gathers on the horizon. By selecting a big enough unit, we not only have enough power to run the whole house, but we can even share with our neighbors if need be. From design, manufacturing, installation and service, this is a first class product.

Apart from the weekly tests we have had one opportunity to see the generator in action when a nearby transformer failed. We had full power restored within a minute, and seamless transfer back to utility power once the repairs were complete. My only complaint is that as an engineer, I'd like to get more data from the weekly tests. All I get is "It started, it ran, it stopped". I would like to see logs of fuel consumption, oil pressure, temperature, and generators output. I've asked about this information but my requests went unanswered.
