[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the 5.5qt bowl lift stand mixer from my previous tilt head mixer. This stand mixer has such a high capacity and more power that I wish I had upgraded before. I have started doubling most of my dough and cookie batches to keep some in the freezer for quick meals and snacks. The bowl lift is able to power through with twice the power without any wobble when kneading doughs. The mixer comes with the large 5.5qt bowl and a smaller 3qt bowl for smaller batches in a quality stainless steel that you expect from Kitchen Aid. This mixer is the workhorse of my kitchen and Looks elegant on my counters. If you bake a lot this is the stand mixer that is for you, and will keep up with anything you can throw at it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this KitchenAid 5.5 quart stand mixer! It is so powerful and makes my cakes light and fluffy when using the wire-whip to mix. I have made bread with the dough hook and it comes out perfect every time. The flat beater is great for making cookie dough. I love that the beater and dough hook are coated as my previous ones were not so I couldn’t wash them in the dishwasher without them turning black. The small bowl and mini whip are perfect for beating eggs. This mixer is much quieter than my other mixers which is very nice. This mixer is such a step up and I appreciate the power and ability to use this stand mixer for all my baking needs. I highly recommend this KitchenAid 5.5 quart mixer!

I can also get more attachments to make even more!

I bought this mixer a year ago. Very shortly after(like weeks) the mixer attachment had a paint chip, but nothing could be done so I let it go. The mixer itself is amazing. I bought the shredder/slicer attachment and use that all the time instead of buying shredded cheese. It’s black and looks beautiful on our countertop.

The ability to select the speed we need and the various attachments make mixing batter, dough, and even shredding chicken super easy. This mixer came with an additional smaller bowl, attachment, and spoon for making whipped cream and spooning it out. Absolutely happy with this mixer and the color brightens up our dark kitchen!

It makes trying new recipes fun. I make homemade yeast rolls, but the arthritis in my hands makes it difficult to knead the dough. The dough hook has been a game changer for me. No more hassle trying to hold the bowl in place to mix ingredients, or over exerting myself trying to whip things up! I use it to mix my bread dough, cake mixes, pudding, cheesecakes, deviled egg filling, and so much more! The attachments are easy to put on and remove helping to make clean up a breeze. It’s definitely one of the very few appliances that warrants space on my countertops year round, and looks very attractive doing so!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a gift, and I do not like it at all. This mixer so heavy it is a struggle to get it out of the pantry and onto the counter. When you add anything, you have to stop to scrape the sides of the bowl, stop to add ingredients, and to take the beater out you have to drop the bowl down, push the beater back in your mix, then pull it out. I am soooo sad this is a present & I can not take it back :-(
