I was so excited to purchase this Kitchen Aid. Unfortunately, I plugged it in and it didn't work.

I bought the mixer to replace my old kitchenAid mixer after 20 years. That was on December but it didn’t work, never started . I returned and was replaced by other one which only worked for 10 seconds.

First one worked for 45 seconds. Returned it and the second one worked for 4 minutes. Apparently there is a problem with this model and it should be recalled. Do not buy.

Very disappointed in this mixer. My old 4.5qt had 400 watts of power. This one only has 325 and struggles to mix dough. The KitchenAid website doesn’t have this model. It has the 5.5qt with 500 watts.

Returning it. The first thing I tried to make was pizza dough and it couldn’t handle it. Completely shut down. I thought these things were supposed to be so good?! It died in ten minutes. Junk.

I have two bowl lift stand mixers. One AC Motor which is loud. Think nails on a chalkboard. When I break out that mixer the dogs leave the room and try to jump ship. I break out my other mixer with a DC motor and they stick around. Both of my mixers are KitchenAid both Bowl Lift. The AC motor is not as strong I find as the DC motor one I have. I would not buy another mixer knowing it has an AC motor.

My husband surprised me with the black one several months ago. I use it all the time! My chocolate chip cookie dough is very thick, and my old mixer wore out because of it. This KitchenAid is unphased by it! The lowest setting appears to adjust to the contents, which is so helpful. I love the matte black color, the large size of the bigger bowl, and the fact that the smaller bowl comes with a stainless (dishwasher safe) attachment! I also have to mention the small gap between the paddle attachment and the inner edge of the larger bowl. If I don't have enough substance in the bowl, dinner of our gets stuck on the inner walls and doesn't get fully incorporated. I'm assuming I should be using the smaller bowl in those cases. Other than that learning aspect, it's a perfect machine! It even has a cord of generous length! Just treat yourself and buy one. You've earned it by all the time spent in the kitchen already ;)

I would not know. We did not pick up at Broadway store , repurchased at mentor store . You said I picked up at Broadway store , I never took it out of the box yet . I was told you would refund , you stlll have not . I callled multiple times with no help . Your customer service is horrrible !!!

I have loved my Kitchen Aid Mixer for over 40 years, have bought the children one over the years, decided to upgrade to a new one, purchase this one at Sam's Club. This is the absolute worse designed model I have ever used. the Lift is not high enough to clear the bowl, you have to attach the blades while in the bowl and remove while still sitting in the mixture. Makes it impossible to use properly without making a mess. Preparing for Thanksgiving, mixing cake filling, apparently left the beaters on too long, it heated up the beaters so hot it burnt my fingers and left metal shaving in the batter. the beaters are slow to ramp up to begin to mix, the bowl is difficult to mount on the pins and there is no quick removal of the bowl once mounted. Wish I have my tilt head Kitchen Aid Mixer , much better product.

Gave one star for even carrying this product, but have caution: the appliances Sam's/C*stco sells are specially made just for warehouse sales, they're not same quality as what you buy directly through the manufacturer. This mixer is available for the same price through Kitchenaid but will be an original and authentic product, NOT a lesser-quality version like what's available through Sam's. I learned this from buying a Shark robot vacuum. I won't be buying appliances through Sam's ever again, only manufacturer websites.
