There are different factors that can contribute to what’s known as “pilling” -- moisturizer balling up on the surface your your skin – or flaking when using a moisturizer. It can be caused by using too much moisturizer or by rubbing it in too hard. Try using a little less product and try patting it onto your skin instead of rubbing it in. If that don’t help, the product might be too moisturizing for your skin. If the product is too moisturizing for your skin, it can often feel sticky or tacky as well. You could try switching to a lotion or serum for the daytime, and use your cream at night. Regarding the scent, when we design our products, we do extensive research and consumer testing to create features that we think you will love.
