[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones have surpassed my expectations by a good amount. While I was deciding if I wanted to give them a try I believed some of the reviewers who said that other open ear headphones were close to these. They are very wrong! These Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have the sound quality of audiophile headphones. The way that the sound quality puts you in a bubble of detailed sound is unreal when you realize that you can hear birds chirping while you listen to your favorite jazz artists playing in that environment that you are hearing around you. The sound is crisp and clear. They are not V shaped, warm, or Harmon. They are just right! The sound is as good as the QC Ultras, Denon Perl Pro, Technic AZ80s or the AirPod Pro 2s and these are OPEN headphones!!! It makes no sense, but I am very glad that I gave them a try. Since my Bose sunglasses let me down when they stopped working a few years ago I stopped buying Bose. These have won me back to Bose. I will be much more open to Bose in the future.

I love these headphones. I suffer from migraines so I cannot use the ones that go into your ears because it creates too much pressure in my head. These headphones have great sound and they work well for regular calls and even my work video meetings. I am very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these for a couple of weeks now and have been really impressed with the sound quality for an open earbud format. It doesn’t sound hollow to me at all like other ones I’ve tried. I love using them while I’m doing chores and I can still hear if the kids need me. Outside, I’ve found I need to pick my volume wisely. Too low and I can’t hear the music/podcast, too high and I can’t hear my surroundings as well. Inside I haven’t had that issue.

I actually love these! At first they feel like they might fall out, but they haven’t at all! I run and workout and they never fall out!! Super comfortable and sound quality is great even being open ear. Sound can go very loud and I have been told if it is up all the way you can hear it but cannot make out the song or what it is saying. I think the negative reviews on this are a little dramatic, my only complaints are the price, the fact that you can’t locate them like with AirPods or most other earbuds, and the quality talking on the phone isn’t great. Otherwise these are great, I have had a very hard time with earbuds fitting in my ear and causing pain so these were one of the only few that I liked and fit comfortably!

I have had these earbuds for a few weeks and love the design. Realize they are not noise canceling so pick a different style if you want that aspect. The fit on smaller ears is so so.. running they don't feel secure. My kids love them but they do fall off easily. Sound quality is good you can't hear the music as someone sitting next to them.. I'd prefer better sound in ear but I understand now that this design just isn't the one for me.. but love the ease and comfort and sound overall of Bose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually love the Ultra Open Earbuds. I love the comfort and the sound quality. I love that I can put them on my 8 year olds ears and she won't get uncomfortable. Music is one of the few things that help he regulate her emotions when ask other tactics fail. So when she gets over stimulated I can put one of the earbuds on her ear, a little further from her ear canal (which is another thing I like!) and the benefits are immediate. I also enjoy being able to keep them on and knowing that someone is talking to me so I can pause whatever I'm listening to to interact with whomever has interrupted my studies (it's usually a welcome interruption. Otherwise I'd use nose canceling!). Music also helps me with social anxiety, so being able to use these in crowded stores without missing when someone has directed their choice toward me, is a huge benefit. And when my headphones suddenly stopped charging after a very short period of time, the process to have them replaced (under warranty) was quick and painless! This sounds like a 5 star review. I know. I see it too. So let me explain the missing star. I actually bought 2 sets. The first set just to see if I even like it, and the 2nd set as a package deal with a bose surround sound speaker that popped up the same day our don't went out. Two things I don't like: 1. Bose has an app that I use with my quiet comfort that allows me to share music between two sets of headphones. I actually found the open ear because I was looking for a 2nd pair to share audio. These don't use that same app and lack that technology. Huge number. But the second issue is the one that really was the missing star. The ultra open earbuds and the sound bar rarely remain connected for more than 5 minutes at a time. I have to constantly re connect them to both the new app and the soundbar. This is frustrating because I bought it for this purpose. Too reduce noise at night so my kids can sleep while I'm studying with the TV on. This is also why I have yet to purchase the 2nd sound system for my bedroom tv. Why but it if the keep factor doesn't work? The headphones themselves are probably 5 star, as long as you don't plan on using them with the sound bar and are chill with giving your friend or kid one of your ear pieces for music share. Also remember that these are not meant to be noise canceling. So if your only research is reviews, here's your warning. They are OPEN earbuds. You will still hear the world around you. But there have been times where I was so comfortable in my headphones that when a song came on after a calm pause I panicked and whipped around in the grocery store thinking there was a man whispering in my ear. Scared the crud out of me!

I brought these QCE for my husband for father's day. He loves his ear buds! He is not tech savvy at all. Nevertheless, he was very happy. The sound is awesome & crisp. For him with noise canceling i have to tap him unless he is looking at me.The QCE block out everything. Very easy to connect. We have 4 other Bose products. Great product from Bose.

I use them when I ride my bike for commuting or taking public transit, and it also keeps me aware of my surroundings when riding which is super convenient. I also use it for work at times if I'm working witn other people just in case they need my attention but I switch to my QC ultra when I'm focused on my own tasks. It's so comfortable to use that I sometimes forget I'm wearing them. Overall, it's just a great product.
