I have used these for the last month and they are a game changer! The sound, clarity, and flexibility are amazing! I can use them separately or together to maximize my listening experience. Plus the color is my jam! They look seriously cute on my ears!

Easy to connect and wear, even my tech-adverse parents could handle. Love the sound quality without sacrificing and losing awareness of my surrounding, great for outdoors and physical activities. Also, as an add on I'm glad these are earbuds where you don’t look tacky wearing them through the office or when dressed formal.

I got these as a gift back in May 2024. Before these I had AirPods. To compare, I love how these don’t go inside my ears. I was expecting the sound quality to be more being they are Bose. But for me, they fell short. I feel my old AirPods that were only a few months old before getting these, had much better sound quality. I just didn’t like how my AirPods went inside my ears and would always fall out even after purchasing different ear tips. Overall these are good, I just expected better sound.

I had tried others, all with significant trade off in sound quality or wearability. I purchased the Open Ear ultra’s and my search came to a halt. Excellent Bose quality sound, outstanding wearability, a great companion app, and very good battery life. I use them when in the house, out walking, or working out, and in all cases I get great sound and the ability to remain fully connected to the outside world. Not having an in-ear design makes them so easy to wear that I forget I have them on. And, the button functionality works far better for me than trying to navigate a touch system on earbuds like many other competing products. If you’re looking for a great open ear earbud, buy them and you won’t be disappointed. I love them, and my ears love them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a refurbished pair about a month ago before traveling abroad. They take a minute to get used to but are very comfortable for long-time wear and allow you to stay attuned to the environment around you. I find that often only one headphone will connect and I have to reset the other one by putting it back in the case and taking it out which is annoying for a product at this price point (even refurbished). I don’t have a great sense yet about how much other people can hear what I’m listening to so I’m always aware of that and, until I can get some feedback/testing in with people I know, I find that a bit of a detractor. I’ve also tried to take calls with them and always have to switch to my phone because of complaints about my audio. So these headphones are great for a very specific purpose—comfortable long-term wear when you don’t want to appear “plugged in” and remain aware of the environment around us. They do not match performance for taking calls, noise cancellation, or peak audio quality and that’s because that’s not how they’re designed. They won’t be my main headphones, but I will use them often for those very specific purposes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased my Bose open style earphones last week and I really enjoy them to a point where I forget I’m even wearing them which is great because my last earbuds hurting the inside of my ear. The only thing I do not like is how they do not integrate with Apple like my last beat in, and there is a bit and slight delay to the connection between my phone and the Ear clips. I am also not happy with the sound, meaning I do not like that. They are not loud enough and I do not like that. There is no way to get background noise to go away. It is sad to know that the out side sounds are louder than my bose ear clips are hard to hear with outside noises.

I’ve got 5 dogs, so I need to be able to hear what’s going on around me. With my past earbuds the outside sounds were really blocked by the whole inside ear being covered, but with these I can still have my conversation and keep track of what’s going on in the background. Love these!!

These fit my use case PERFECTLY. I wear them at work 8 hours a day, every day. They're very comfortable and sounds great! I tried multiple pairs of "ear clip" style buds and these by far sounded the best. The only draw back is the case. For the price I wish the case was better. It's compact but the lack of wireless charging is a let down. Also, the lid/hinge is not as robust as I'd like. The way the lid can twist while closed almost makes it feel cheap. A slightly redesigned case and these would be the best!
