[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had these for a couple weeks now and they are honestly pretty good! the sound quality is great and i like how light they feel. I got the Lisa collab so I love how they look when I'm wearing them.

Let me start by saying, I'm a fan of Bose products and have had everything from multiple generations of headphones, soundbar, home theater, standalone all-in-one, and even two pairs of glasses. I know Bose to produce quality stuff and was excited to try these. I purchased on day one and there are some good and bad things. First the good - they fit great and exactly what I need. I hate things in my ear and the comfort of these is perfect. They also don't move or slip at all... a great physical design. They also have good sound quality that I can hear well but of course because they are open, ambient noise can impact listening. That said, the sound quality is what I'd expect from Bose. In addition, there are nice features like multi-device paring (which came through in an update) and also the ability to do cool things with audio perception as you move around. These are my favorite ear buds by far. However, there is one bad and it's a big one - the call quality. Everyone says they can't understand me with these things... it doesn't matter if it's a standard call or an online meeting, they all say it's pretty bad and ask me to stop using them (which is embarrassing for sure). It's so bad that I end up having to carry around a second set of ear buds for when I want to do a call. I've used both Airpods and Meta Ray-Ban glasses and people say I sound fine with those... so something about the microphone on these is not up to par. All said, I am happy with my purchase overall as the majority of my use is for listening to music or podcasts while walking. I like being able to still hear what's going on around me and never have a problem with the fit, sweat or anything else you'd experince with in-ear earbuds. I am hoping they can fix the microphone in an update or perhaps a future generation. If you don't plan on using these extensively for call, I'd highly recommend them.

They just are. You may balk at the lack of noise-canceling or the fact that they just “hang” on your ears… I’m here to tell you— these are amazing.

A bit about me. I have tiny ears. I’m a petite woman. Even the smallest AirPods do not fit and give me a massive earache. To add “injury to insult” (yes, that was intentionally backward)… I have piercings. I have inner ear piercings on both sides. This doesn’t exactly set me up for success for earbuds. I had given up on that very idea. I have Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. But they’re not ideal for every situation. Enter these magical devices that Bose made just for me. They did, right? I’m a woman. And I'm a mom. These are two roles that typically don’t lend to many noise-cancelling opportunities. If I’m in the other room folding laundry? I WANT to hear if little Jimmy fell off the top bunk for the 3rd time today. What if he broke his arm that time? If I’m jogging the trails? I WANT to hear if a creepy guy is starting to encroach on my space and breathing heavier. Ew. These are not perfect. I’m not in sales, and I’m not about to sell you on these. There is a learning curve to putting them “on.” Especially if you have piercings, like I do. On my tragus side, there is no issue. I’m still working with my daith— the jury is out. Positioning is tricky to get comfortable on that side. From what I can tell, you cannot wear these with dangly lobe earrings or anything of that nature. But—the beautiful part is that the earbud is not exactly static. These have a ton of flexibility to them. When you get it right, it legitimately feels like you have nothing on your ear. Almost weightless. Do you have a hearing aid? This is your earbud. I’m really happy you finally have a quality product accessible to you. They hold a charge for a long time— I haven’t even been able to drain them to tell you just how long. While on the subject of charging, I will tell you that I am both surprised and disappointed that the charger is not wireless. Especially when my husband’s older Bose earbuds are. Dunno what happened there. It’s a small drawback, and I got over it… The sound quality is what you would expect from Bose…it’s excellent. The immersion mode is cool and something I enjoyed more than I thought I would. The app is great (I already had it from my Comfort Headphones, and it picked up the Ultra Open Earbuds with no problem). Phone calls? Answering calls is not intuitive to me, but that’s a non-Apple curve I’m willing to learn. Zoom calls? All good. No issues thus far. That’s it for now! If I could rate it a 4.5, I would. I was skeptical at first, but they sound amazing. They aren't for people looking for noise suppression. I was not looking for noise cancelling, I was looking for something that sounded great but I could still be aware of the surrounding environment. I have not been disappointed, I really love not having that sticky gooey ear wax feeling.

I have been wearing these earbuds for a month now and I have had a positive experience. I can listen to my music and hear what’s going on around me. When I talk, it is clear from both ends. You cannot hear background noises. They are comfortable to wear and hold the charge for hours.

My ears were never happy with most buds, not always practical to wear headphones. These are my all day companions for podcasts, music. Can still have awareness of surroundings. In quieter setting, sound quality for music is astounding for an open bud. This product has changed my ability to listen without distracting those around me. My go to pod device. For me, worth the price.

I got them a week ago and have used them every single day since. They sit so comfortably and never budge no matter the activity level. Could not recommend these more.

They stay secure, deliver excellent sound quality, and are comfortable for the entire session. I also appreciate how they keep me aware of my surroundings in the gym. These are the best earbuds I’ve found for an intense, everyday workout routine.
