I purchased these a couple months ago as I am training for my second marathon. They are light and give off great sound while being able to hear around me. We all know there are some creepers on the trails so it’s important to not have complete noise cancelling while running those trails.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A friend recommended these after my AirPods were destroyed in a washing machine accident. I really enjoy them! I have sensitive ears and I feel that the sound quality is perfect for me. You can adjust them on different areas of your ear as well, although I don’t know if that was intended or not. If you listen to music loudly, people around you can hear it, so be aware of that. Additionally, other earbuds tend to hurt my ear or they’re too large to fit comfortably, but since these almost act like a huggie on your ear, that hasn’t been an issue. Overall, they’re nice earbuds and have a pretty decent battery life after a full charge.

Earphones are quality sound! Love the fact that you can hear anything without removing them. What I didn’t like was (1) with the headphones on, your cell phone still rings out loud and (2) the contact came of the caller is not announced. You’re provided with the phone number of the incoming call. I guess Apple me spoiled with those features. I am willing to forfeit quality sound and ear jewelry for those two key Apple features. Rating lost 2 stars for those reasons.

While I was deciding if I wanted to give them a try I believed some of the reviewers who said that other open ear headphones were close to these. They are very wrong! These Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have the sound quality of audiophile headphones. The way that the sound quality puts you in a bubble of detailed sound is unreal when you realize that you can hear birds chirping while you listen to your favorite jazz artists playing in that environment that you are hearing around you. The sound is crisp and clear. They are not V shaped, warm, or Harmon. They are just right! The sound is as good as the QC Ultras, Denon Perl Pro, Technic AZ80s or the AirPod Pro 2s and these are OPEN headphones!!! It makes no sense, but I am very glad that I gave them a try. Since my Bose sunglasses let me down when they stopped working a few years ago I stopped buying Bose. These have won me back to Bose. I will be much more open to Bose in the future.

I purchased these ear buds a month ago and I am very happy with how they fit on my ears. I cannot wear over the ear or inner ear buds as they cause me headaches. The sound quality could be a little better. You have to have them in specific spots to get great sound. Bose states the batteries last 7 hours, I am barely getting 5 hours before I hit the 10 percent warning. Are they worth the $299.99 price? No, but I was able to get them at a reduced rate and a military discount also so what I paid was a fair price for Bose quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over three months of the Ultra Open Earbuds and so happy with them! I have tiny ears and a small head, these are the only ear buds/pods whatever you want to call them that actually stay in place. I’ve used these on runs, dancing, cleaning up at home, out and about running errands, even napping (not on purpose, just forgot I was wearing them)! They are very comfortable, I have forgotten I was wearing them more than once. The sound is excellent: music, podcasts, better listening experience than any other ear buds I have tried. I have tried all versions of apple pods, Shokz, Beats, these win out for fit, comfort and sound. The battery life is excellent and the charging case recharges them quickly without being plugged in which makes these very convenient on long travel days. I plug them in every few days. The only complaint is that the audio for phone calls or virtual meetings isn’t good - I usually disconnect them from Bluetooth when a call comes. Because of all of the other positives, it’s something I am willing to give up for now. As soon as Bose has an update to these that also has good audio, I’ll get them. My little ears and I are so happy! If I see a sale I might grab an extra pair in a different color.

I got these a few month ago and I absolutely love them when I’m listening to music, especially during a walk. There are 2 instances, however, where they fall short and I have to switch back to my 2nd gen AirPods: 1) if I’m doing interactive games on my phone (e.g., Duolingo) or 2) if I’m wanting to call someone. People have trouble hearing me when I use the Ultra Open Earbuds during a call and I can never hear the audio when I use them while playing Duolingo. As I said, however, while I’m listening to music they’re absolutely fantastic; they have great sound and I often can even forget I’m wearing them coz they’re so comfortable.

sound and comfort excellent, as to be expected from a Bose product. Instructions on set up are terrible, hard to follow, not accurate. QRS code on the box is not helpful at all as it is not specific to the product. And there are simply too many similar but uniquely different products in look and design. Need both apple and android instruction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At full volume, I cannot hear podcasts. They're loud enough for music, but even putting a stretchy headband over the devices to hold the speakers closer to my ear canal, I still cannot understand spoken word with these.

I hate having my ears plugged with earbuds. I saw these, bought them and just love them. They have a beautiful sound when I watch TV and I’m not blocking out the rest of the world so I can hear the kids talk or the dog bark or whatever. Just what I needed and wanted.
