I like the instant Bluetooth connection. However after the original Bluetooth setup with the Bose Quiet Comfort app the Apple iPhone IOS takes over and overrides the Bose app 50% of the time. Which means I cannot adjust any earbud settings through the Bose app.

I bought these when they first came out and I have been using them everyday at work for up to 8+ hours a day and Love them. I can listen to whatever I am on that day and still communicate with customers and coworkers without having to pause or remove them.

It is what I would expect from a Bose product - innovative and stylish design. The price is premium for a small device but I think it’s worth it. It delivers on its advertised exceptional sound quality for an open ear earphone and ease of use. It also clips on the ear very comfortably and securely. I bought this to use at work and at the gym and it’s exceeded my expectation with regards to sound quality. Battery life is satisfactory as well - on stereo mode it lasts my ten hour work days, on immersion mode it lasts around 6 hours. In summary, I knew what I wanted from an earphone which is to hear pleasant music while still being aware of the sounds around me and being able to have it on the ear comfortably for a long time. To potential buyers, I would advise to know what you’re getting and not from an open ear earphones. Open ear earphones and plugged in earphones have different benefits so there’s no point in comparing them. Don’t expect big bass nor noise cancellation as what plug in earphones have or the ones that almost completely block the ear canal. I’ve been buying open ear earphones and this is the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am training for a marathon in November and I have ear piercings including conch and purchased the headphones , those are great but on hot days I needed something light and where I could hear around me safely. I wear just one and I love it!

Spectacular sound quality. However does not work with multiple BT connections. Even when Multipoint is disabled, Open Earbuds randomly drop one source and connect to another. I finally had to delete connections and just connect to a single device (android phone). Another annoying issue is noticeable time lag for audio to be heard. This makes it impossible to use any app where audio stops and starts - can't use Babel. So I just use them for music and podcasts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded my old soundsport earbuds for the ultra open earbuds.The ultra are very comfortable and won't come off on their own but can pop off from accidental physical contact with your hand, glasses, mask, etc. I recommend getting any color but black to make it easier to find when you drop them. I like the quality of the sound even though the street noise does come through (which it's supposed to do). These are not, nor are they meant to be, noise canceling. Walking around is a lot more fun while listening to music on these.

Overall good sound and I enjoy the stereo vs immersion settings. I also love the comfort. I do not love the connectivity glitches/static, issues reconnecting after switching devices, etc. I also don't like that they don't stop playing when I take them out of my ears like the Quiet Comfort headphones.

I wear them every day for hands free phone calls, listening to music, talk radio and while working out. I am able to connect them to multiple WIFI sources without issue. I find them very comfortable and stable on my ears. The case has a recharging capability that is a major improvement which allows me to go 2+ days without recharging! Excellent product!!

The sound quality is way better than my prevoious Bose sport buds. I love al the features. My only gripe with these is you can’t have them connected to your iphone and apple watch at the same time. It’s one or the other which sucks. I love that I was able to set everything through the app. So I can turn them off, skip to nxt song, put in quiet mode etc. all by tapping the buds. Make them pair with more than one thing snd these would be 5 stars.

I am able to still hear what’s going on around me while all listening to my music or having a phone conversation. Also with my ear piercings, these headphones do not irritate my ear which is an extra win for me!
