As a licensed cosmetologist I purchased about 3 months ago for personal use. The attachments feel flimsy. The area of hair this dries vs other dryers is about half of the normal coverage area. I have tried very hard to love this, but it’s not easy to use, hard to switch barrels mid drying/styling I originally bought this to replace several tools, but it doesn’t do the job I’d hoped and extends my time to get ready. Doesn’t even work efficiently for me as simply a hairdryer.

I bought this a month ago and was so excited to use it. I have long straight hair however and the product didn’t work for me. It does dry your hair quick but the curls wouldn’t last me 5 minutes after trying multiple techniques: wet/dry hair, mousse, hairspray, etc. I will be returning.

This product gives ZERO hold, even when setting with copious amounts of hairspray. Hair style looks okay at the time of use but after that will rapidly straighten out (if you used the curling barrels, and the paddle brush gives zero volume compared to other cheaper brands I’ve used. This product is absolutely not worth the price that it is.

My hair is just above shoulder length. The auto wrap curlers don’t work for me at all. I need a curler about that diameter, but with a brush that will actually grab my hair and give me a tighter curl when I want that. The blower and the other tools are really good.

I got the Shark Flex at Christmas. I love the way it makes my hair fell and how fast it drys. The way it bends it so convenient. There are three things I am not pleased about. 1. I don't like how my hair gets stuck in the oval brush when drying and it pulls my hair out. 2. I don't like where the heat, speed, & the on & off buttons are located. To me these buttons would be more comfortable located up by the cool shot button. Sort of the way where they are. 3. The tools that fasten onto the end of barrel could be a bit tighter fitting. But, for the price it is a nice dryer. Don't forget me as one who got the first style when you make improvements.

I LOVE my shark FlexStyle. When I started getting hair extensions, I became Uber obsessed with keeping my hair healthy. Not only is it an amazing blow dryer, I do not have to get my hair completely dry to finish styling. It saves so much time for a very put together look. Since switching to heartless curls, my hair stays longer, I no longer have frizz, and I also do not burn my skin anymore like I used with an old fashioned curling iron.this product is perfect for people wanting to have beautiful out together hair looks without a lot of effort. The FlexStyle also comes with styler pieces that give perfect blow out straight looks. I have not had to use any type of heating devices since buying my shark and I will continue to invest in their products!

The Shark FlexStyle is a handy hair tool that does a lot of stuff. I got used to where the buttons are pretty quickly, but sometimes it’s hard to hit the power button when I’m styling my hair with just one hand. It’s got options to adjust how strong and hot it blows, and there’s a button for cool air, but you have to keep holding it down. I don’t really use the oval brush that comes with it because it’s too big for my hair. Instead, I stick to my regular round brush for styling. But the oval brush is good for adding volume to the roots, though. Whether this tool works for you depends on what your hair is like. I have straight, fine hair that’s not colored, and this thing helps my hair look fuller, even though curls don’t stay in for long. One thing I don’t like is how loud it is – it’s kind of annoying, so I wear earplugs. Overall, the Shark FlexStyle is helpful, but it might not be perfect for everyone.”

What a smooth look? Try the paddle brush which straightens as it dries. Prefer to add volume? The oval brush gives you volume at the roots. And the coolest attachment of them all is the auto wrap curlers, which come in a left and right curl so you can swap for either side of your face. As a mom, my favorite part is that I can curl my daughters hair with air instead of a hot iron. I don’t have to worry about getting too close to her scalp or face and she said the hot hair felt nice. And I don’t have to worry about burning my fingers. There is a little bit of a learning curve when using the auto-wrap curling wand, but once you master where to hold your hair and which direction it will twist, it leaves you with soft, pretty curls. The wand is smart enough to know which heat and fan setting is best for each accessory, but you can override it if you prefer. There is also a cool shot button to hold your style in place. It has a pretty long cord, and while it is solid, it’s not overly heavy. With so many different attachments, it really eliminates the need to own multiple hair appliances. Overall this feels very high end.

I purchased this product a week ago. It's easy to use. The brushes are terrific especially on my thick hair. They grip have have great tension to achieve that sleek look or salon blow out look. The curling barrels are simple to use and produce great bounce. Not to mention the price!!! Well worth it! The competition should take cover, this styler will be Taking over soon!
