The hair dryer itself is nice and the round brush attachment is nice, but that is really the only attachment that makes an impact on my hair. As someone with straight, fine hair the straightening brush is useless for me, and the curling attachments are just not easy or convenient to use. Not having use for the attachments means it really isn't worth the price tag. Using their suggested curling method of high airflow and high heat, the hot air being blown onto the head and especially around the ears is unbearable. Even on the lowest setting it is still uncomfortable and also takes 2-3 times as long to hold for a decent curl. It is also incredibly loud, both with attachments on and even louder without them, to the point that my ears hurt after using it. It is lightweight and I do like the round brush attachment, but for the price it just is not worth 1 attachment. For this price I can get a, blowdryer, round brush styler, and curling iron with plenty of money leftover.

It worked great the first couple uses. Now I have to wrap the hair myself no matter how little I’m trying to curl at once. Don’t get me wrong it dries great…also burns your head if you hold it for more than a few seconds. They also place the buttons in the weirdest spots. Overall for the cost I’d say save your money because this does not produce the work of an expensive hair tool.

I’ve had my Shark FlexStyle for nearly 2 years now and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be with it. The fact that I can dry my hair, curl it, smooth it for a blow out look or diffuse when I want my natural curls with just one product is fantastic. I’ve had great results on my hair when it was waist length and at it current length which is a long bob. As an added bonus it comes in a great looking storage/carry case meaning I can keep all my accessories together.

It gives absolutely stunning curls that make you feel like you just got out of the salon. When I received this, I was ecstatic to try it out! I hear people saying that the curls don’t last. It’s true, the curls don’t last as long as a traditional curling iron but the VOLUME lasts! So, you can touch up your curls with your regular curling iron the next day. I recommend using a heat protectant with hold and hairspray each section after curling! The curls should last at least til the end of the day!

Bought this at the same time as the Dyson. Returning the Dyson. Why? The Shark is the better all around machine. While the Dyson is better for making curls and has better button positioning (Shark should work on this for the next iteration), the Shark beats it for everything else and comes pretty close for the curls. The Shark can actually replace your regular blowdryer, Revlon one step, and curling iron. The large oval head gets excellent tension and can build immense volume at the roots and give you a big blowout style. None of Dyson’s brushes, including the round head, can keep as much tension. And the Dyson does not have strong enough airflow to replace your blowdryer. The Shark is an absolute steal compared to the Dyson and well worth the $$.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i can’t believe to describe how amazing this product has worked for me! this dryer has several attachments and it makes my hair look as if it was a dyson for half the price!! it takes a little to get used to the movements but i searched up some videos and they helped tremendously! i took before and after pictures to show the different in my frizzy hair and how slick it looks post styling it with this product! it’s amazing material and sturdy! very modern slick design! everyone should ask for their wishlists especially for the holidays!

I don’t normally spend a lot of money on things like this, but my daughter had purchased one for herself and her hair looked so nice after using it I’ve only used it twice so far. The first time I used it I use the oval brush and I’ve never had my hair feel so soft before. I did try the curling ones as well, but I didn’t put a lot of effort into it. My hair doesn’t really hold a curl very well, but I think I will try putting a little product in my hair before doing it again. Some of the curl did last the day, and that was without hairspray or any pre-styling product. I hope it lasts a long time as it was quite expensive . I look forward to using it more often.

Works super fast! The concentrator is definitely a must have for every kit! It makes drying my hair so fast. I used to hate drying my hair b/c it took 15-20 min with cheep driers. This takes 20 min total including curling. My blow out curls last me between washes (3-4 days) and still provide texture and volume. Overall great purchase!

I absolutely love the shark Flexstyle! I have long wavy and thick hair and it usually takes me a long time to dry it but this shorten the time it took me to dry my hair by at least half and my hair looked like I just had it professionally done! It was so easy to use, the machine is pretty light and not to mention it's gorgeous. There are multiple attachments such as a paddle brush, curlers and my favorite, the oval brush. I love how it's a bigger brush attachment so it worked really well on my thick hair. I also appreciate the heat management so it doesn't damage my hair. I'm honestly so impressed by this and this will be my go to tool to use to dry and style my hair!

When I tell you that I am OBSESSED!! I literally use this hair styler everyday about, I got as a Christmas gift two years ago and it’s by far the best gift I’ve ever received. The performance is great, there are plenty of attachments for different uses. My favorite is the curling attachment, it takes me minutes to blow my hair out once it’s damp. It takes a little bit to get use to and learn how to use but once you get the hang of it it’s super easy to style and use.
