I had my last dryer for 34 years. It was good. This new dryer has so many features! I really like that it continues to tumble the clothes after drying so they won’t wrinkle. I also like the steam feature. It saved me from having to iron my table clothes at Christmas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer was purchased to replace our 2011 DLGX3876V. Although very similar in features, the DLGX4001B does dry faster and the dryness sensor is more accurate. We chose LG again because of its continued lead in reliability and performance over other brands. One thing was not improved upon was to backlight the control settings. They are very hard to read except in bright room light. I also wish that on a dryer of this class that the display screen was LED rather than of the segmented type. Certain numbers and letters can be hard to read on this display. Finally, the steam function on this new dryer uses plumbed water instead of a user-fillable water tank. I have some concerns about using plumbed water, even softened, versus filling the tank with distilled water. Hopefully mineral buildup won't be an issue. Three quibbles on an otherwise excellent dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dryer! Every dryer I’ve had before I had to run the cycle at least twice, sometimes three times to get jeans and socks completely dry! This dryer does the trick the first time! It’s fantastic! And, it has so many features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dryer for about a month and I am very impressed with it so far. The sensor dry works great and does not over dry my clothes. The thing I like the best is the alert feature which sends alerts to my cell phone when a cycle finishes. I can also check on my phone to see how much longer until the cycle is done.

I really like that it has a number of different features and settings. I haven't used all of them yet. The ones that I have used have worked really well. However, I hope to try every feature and setting at least once. Even though I might not use them all, it's nice to know that I have those options.

We are loyal to LG washers & dryers!!! Our old set of washer & dryer lasted us for 13 years & we were so happy with them. We figure to replace them with another LG & we couldn’t be happier. We love all the features, very quiet, great value for the money & love the way they look.

Perfection. So especially love being told via WiFi connection that my load is completed, what a tremendous help in reducing wrinkles and making clothes look their best. There are lots of cycle options that help make light and healthy work of cleaning your clothes and household linens!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a lemon, or a piece of junk. This dryer has been nothing but a source of aggravation ever since I purchased it. We keep on getting this flashing “gas” error. The dryer stops 25 to 30 minutes into its cycle with gas error flashing. It does not generate any heat, everything is still wet. We had a plumber check the gas line, everything is fine—our gas stove and gas water heater have no issues. An LG tech replaced the dryer’s gas valve—same issue. My mom suffers from dementia, laundry is a necessity in our house. To get this repaired, I have to pay a plumber to disconnect the gas line from the dryer, pay someone to bring it down from its platform, once the maintenance is done, pay for the reverse process. At this point, as soon as I have the money, I’ll get a new dryer , and hope to have better luck. My last dryer lasted over 15 years before the motor gave out. Buyer beware!!

I love the bedding, antibacterial, and steam sanitary cycle. I will want to try steam fresh for my wrinkled clothes . But I do press the wrinkle cate button which Is an important feature .
