I've been using the Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE Salad and Snack Set for the last week and really like how it works. It seals tightly and offers lots of compartments for salad toppings. My favorite part is the built-in dressing holder which eliminates having to carry a bottle or extra container. My teen daughter has used the Salad Containers in her lunch for high school a few times and likes how compact it is making it easy to carry all day. The Snack container has two removable trays which is nice because you can take one big snack like a trail mix or popcorn, or you can take two different kinds of snacks without having them touch one another. The big thing I like is how versatile these are. The Salad container would also work great for tacos and sandwiches if you want to keep toppings separate as well.

The extra seal around the lid keeps it leak free preventing messes in the fridge. The snaps provide further sealing of the container. I would recommend this over other containers as it effectively does the job it's made for.

I love that they resist stains because I feel my old plastic containers were really starting to get stains but to know these won’t... I’m all in! Def will be buying more!! Perfect for lunches on the go!

They really do have a nice tight seal. I love that they are dishwasher safe, even the lids. One thing to know, if you are storing them while not in use, don’t put the lid in the smallest container... it can be tricky to get out!

I have plastic containers, glass containers and even a tin container, so I've tried them all. I love this one the best! The packaging boasted a 100% leak-proof guarantee to avoid spills and leaks and made with BPA free material. I take stews and food with sauces to work, and I've experienced spills in the past, so I was willing to give this a try. It worked amazingly well. I could literally hold the container upside down and not a drop seeped out! A feature that I hadn't seen in any other product is the way in which you can flip the lid latches up when microwaving. This way, you don't have to even open the lid… just take the container out of the fridge, lift the latches and insert in the microwave oven. I didn't have to deal with any splatter nor did I have to cover it with a paper towel. It's also very easy to see all the contents – the container and the lid are crystal clear, all around. That, plus how easy it is to stack several items, makes picking out the right container in the morning very easy. At the store where I got it, they had them stacked on display. I tried shifting them around and liked how stable they were on top of each other – no wiggle room whatsoever. That'll come in handy when I get more containers. No more containers slipping left and right in the fridge. I would recommend this for anyone who takes food to work. Easy to spot which container you want on your way out in the morning, easy to transport, easy to microwave your lunch and when you get home… just pop it in the dishwasher. Very convenient!

One small issue ... the plastic has "bubbled" on one side but it does not affect use at all.

Rubbermaid's new Brilliance storage containers claim to be 100% leak proof and stain resistant, so I put it to the test, with the help of my 9 month old baby. We made cherry jello for this test. After adding boiling water to the jello mix I put the lid on for the first test, but the steam made it pop open at the corner. One nice feature it doesn't state is it wasn't too hot for me to hold with the boiling water in it. Once I added cold water I snapped the lid on and let my daughter mix up the jello. No leaks! So it keeps its promise as long as the contents aren't hot. It also didn't get any stains on it, staying crystal clear. I was able to just throw it in the dishwasher after using it for easy clean and it looked like new. Next step will be using it in the microwave with its steam vents, but so far I am happy with my new container.
