The two large ones are perfect for dried pasta, rice, beans, coffee and helps keep them fresher longer while also storing nicely. No more big awkward, ugly bags in the pantry. The small one is perfect for sugar by our coffee machine.

Anyone who knows me, knows I love to cook. I take pride in my kitchen and the gadgets and tools I use. That being said, I have used many different brands, shapes and styles of food storage containers. No matter how many times I stray, I always come right back to Rubbermaid. When I happened upon this set, I was more than excited to try them. They arrived in brand packaging that just screamed quality. The packaging is pretty and surely makes a great presentation for gift giving. I love these containers!! This six piece set features three BPA-free CRYSTAL CLEAR containers and three BPA-free Tritan lids. These Rubbermaid Brilliance containers offer EXCELLENT VISIBILITY of their contents. This is a useful feature as I can look in my fridge and know exactly what I am taking out without having to open several containers. I chopped too much onion and decided to store the leftover in one of the smaller containers. I was super IMPRESSED that there was no onion odor in my refrigerator and even more impressed that there was no odor in the container once I washed it. Some containers I have used in the past held on to odors and I had to toss them. A pet peeve of mine...stained containers!! I hate stained containers. I just find it unsightly as they never look clean; so imagine how THRILLED I am that these containers RESIST not only odors but stains as well!! Another pet peeve of mine is containers that leak. I use containers with covers to keep the contents in and I rely on my containers to do that. These Rubbermaid food storage containers are 100% Leak-proof and guess what...THEY WORK! I'm really SATISFIED with these containers. I'm a neat freak and like my kitchen organized. I love how these containers stack allowing me to save space and keep things tidy! As if these containers couldn't get any better...these Rubbermaid Brilliance containers are freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. The lids have air vents under the latches for when you are microwaving. These vents keep your food from exploding and splattering everywhere! All in all, I find these containers PERFECT for me and and my needs, they are durable, crystal clear, air tight and BPA-free! If you are still wondering if I would recommend these Rubbermaid Brilliance containers, not only do I HIGHLY recommend them but I plan to buy a set for my best friend! The sizes are lovely because they can squeeze any tight space while also being tall enough to fit a significant amount of ingredients. Well made set overall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been searching for a set to replace the missing-all-parts of an old set I had; lids scattered to the four winds, and I chose to review this free product, because I am not easily won; but I was definitely wrong in this case! I wasn't prepared for the quality, first and foremost! There's a literal VACUUM seal that you can hear the suction being drawn in and sealed shut! I was floored! After a couple hours of my tuna salad being sealed away, I added chilled, diced boiled eggs and the lid unsealed with a gentle pop/air current. It's pretty incredible! I know it is reheat safe, but I will not reheat these to increase their longevity; run the risk of the rubber seal being misshaped or warped. These are fabulous!

The fits tightly, and snaps on to prevent leaking and spillage, even in a lunch bag or backpack. The vented lid allows you to microwave your food with the lid on, preventing splattering your microwave. I was worried that this might cause soggy leftovers, but this was not the case. I would highly recommend Rubbermaid® BRILLIANCE™ Food Storage Containers for anyone who takes a lunch with them to work or school. I usually stick to glass containers, but these are far superior to other plastic containers that I have used.

This is a really great product! You can pack anything in there and it will not leak. Some products say they are leak proof, but this product is really leak proof. The glass is a great for heating things up without worrying about warping from plastic. The extra containers that it comes with are perfect for storing salad dressing and toppings or just if you don't want all of your food touching. I honestly thought it would be just another container, but this one is far superior to most containers! The seal on it is amazing it really is airtight. It's been a great container that you can store food in, heat in the microwave, eat out of it and then throw it in the dishwasher! I send my hubby soup in it for his lunch and no leaks! It's definitely worth its weight in gold and I recommend it highly!

It makes my pantry look so fresh and well put together, I can't wait to pick up more of these. It comes with 7 containers of varying sizes and the respective lids. Each lid has a rubber seal and latches to really give these containers an air tight seal. The cereal stays super fresh, so you know that seal is really working. These are easy to clean and they stack perfectly. They are plastic but they dont look cheap or tacky. They are durable and they look really clean and simple, I am in love! I would recommend these to anyone who wants to freshen up the look of their pantry. I especially love being able to tell what's inside at a glance.

I used this for soups as well as storing peaches in juice and it did not leak. The material that it's made out of is much better than other products out there and provides a nice alternative to heavy glass ones. Also the material does not stain like other ones out there which is nice.
