I have already recommended it many of my family and friends and I love showing it off when someone comes over to my place. I would highly suggest this product to busy working mom's who definitely don't want to spend their important time cleaning up unwanted leaks. But then again no one wants to be in this position. I would recommend this product to everyone. I use this product to contain things that are either oily or liquid like soup. I love the fact that it has a tight seal. Not only it helps to avoid spills but also keep my food fresh for days. I can cook in advance and store my food without worrying about it spoiling. There are no cons. I have already purchased 6 more containers to store my dinner for everyday of the week. It's a must buy. You can't go wrong with this.

I loved the fact that it actually doesn't leak !! Another great feature is the vents which stop spillage and splatters when heating the food in the microwave ! The third thing I like about this container is there wasn't any staining! This product is simple to use and easy to open , which is important for users of all ages . The non-leak proof container will allow users to save money taking their own food pretty much anywhere on the go , without having to worry about spills in their bag/ lunch kit etc . Cost wise it is fairly reasonable to other containers which don't have a seal proof , vented lid . I would recommend this Rubbermaid Brilliance container over any other snap lid food containers .

While I wouldn’t put this in the microwave (only true limitation in my opinion) for those who aren’t as concerned with only using glass this would be a great choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rubbermaid Brilliance Pantry - Pantry Starter Set This is a really nice set of plastic storage containers. This 7 Piece Set is called the Panty Starter set. It has a nice variety of sizes that will be handy to almost everyone. I like that they are made of BPA free plastic, keeping food safe is as important as keeping it fresh. Each lid has a rubber seal and two clasps, they click shut very tight. The lids feel very solid and well constructed and when closed seem like they will do a lot to keep foods fresh. Rubbermaid Brilliance promises that the lids offer a 100 % airtight seal. So far under limited tests, that seems to hold up. The rectangular shape makes for more efficient self storage, and they are stackable. The two largest ones are rectangles that are 12 cup size and 16 cup size, I was able to fit a 5lb flour sack in the larger one and a partially used four sack in the 12 cup. I slid the bag right in, but I could have poured the flour right in the container. There are two tall narrow ones for spaghetti noodle boxes or other tall skinny food times 6 cups and 8 cups respectfully. The smaller ones are good for any variety of pantry items. It is called a pantry set and with the rubber gasket lids they are well suited for long term storage, but these containers would be great for general food storage. They are dishwasher safe and stain proof as well. I have not traveled with food in them yet, but they seem like they would hold up well for traveling foods even soups or sauces. I would consider them for a cookout or even a car camping trip. All in all, I am happy with these containers and think I will get a lot of use of them. I would probably get more of these to keep making my kitchen work better.

This container does not stain, leak, or warp! My husband took soup to work in his backpack and not a drop was leaked out. It washed clean with no orange residue! Definitely recommend!

I have used mine to hold my work lunches, including soups, chili, and everything in between and have never had the container leak. It is easy to clean and does not hold "food smells".
