I can only second what all the others have said - bring back the double pack of 20lbs containers!! I'm reasonably strong, but even I find the 40lbs box extremely heavy and hard to use. I assume they are doing this to save cost, but then it should be cheaper than the two jugs, which it isn't. Not good.

I will not be purchasing this litter again. After one day of use, my cat started sneezing and coughing uncontrollably he has even sneezed out what seems to be a clump of dust pictured below. Apparently after a quick Google search this kind of reaction isn't uncommon. I have switched litter to a low dust unscented option. I'm very disappointed!

I’ve tried lightweight, I’ve tried fragrance, free and fragrance now. So far, the weighted litter with fragrance just makes living in an apartment easier with three cats. Less stinky, but sadly still dusty is the one con.

Im not sure if they have changed the litter, I usually get the containers from Walmart but decided to get a big box this time, and its horrible. Its not containing odors at all, and its definitely not the same as buying a smaller container, this box is more clay like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a great litter I have tried several over the years but decided this is the best for the price. We have an Omega rolling litter box. And it works great with it no scooping needed just roll it and empty.

Controls odor nicely, tight clumping and low dust. Recommended. The only thing I don't like is the way the package opens. If you don't open it wide enough it comes out very slowly, and if you open it too wide you can't pick up the box without it feeling like the top is going to tear off.

I'm not sure what has changed recently, but I have used tidy cats glade clumping litter for over 8 years and I have never had quality control problems like this... Random large chunks of what I at first thought looked like drywall (very clearly isn't in pictures) and the color randomly became several shades darker with recently boxes purchased (10 total). See details below and see images for reference. First let me give you a little background information. I have 6 cats, 3 of which I've had for a little over 8 years and the other 3 were additions in the recent years following. I have used tidy cats litter for all 8 years of my original 3 cats lives. Never had issues with hair loss, excessively itching, runny noses, watery eyes, sneezing, etc. The first time I got a box with darker litter in color was around 1/25/25 and it had NO blue glade scented particles and it was extremely dusty. The clumping action was half as good as normal and urine clumps just immediately fall apart and mixed into the fresh litter throughout the day. I had only used this box of litter in my orange cats litter box that is kept separate from the others. Once I added the new litter I immediately saw the color difference, lack of scent, and no blue particles. Within a day, my orange cat literally started sneezing, his nose was always super wet/runny, eyes watery, and he was excessively clawing his face open because he was so itchy. His chin had a patch of red skin that was clearly irritated and his fur was missing (the area was about the size of a dime). I immediately dumped the litter in the trash, scrubbed his litter box and opened another box I had (I always keep a few) and it was scented and light grey in color, like it should be. After changing the litter out, the urine clumps held together and my cat stopped sneezing, excessively itching and clawing his skin open. I figured this was a one off because like I said I've used this product for 8 years without problems.. Fast forward to this month (4/17/25), I purchased 10 boxes of tidy cats clumping glade litter on sale, a week or so ago, and little did I know that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is the darker color with extremely high dust and poor clumping properties (however they did have the blue glade particles and scent so I went ahead and used 2 boxes and swapped the litter out for the month). Now all 6 of my cats are scratching constantly and sneezing. My orange tabby once again clawed his face open not even a day of swapping out the litter in the box... I'm so incredibly disappointed in the recent quality... My fur babies deserve better litter that doesn't cause them to have watery eyes, wet noses, sneeze from large amounts of dust, lose patches of fur, and excessively itch to the point of wounds and lost fur. I got my orange cat just under 3 years ago and have never had skin or raspatory issues with him. I haven't changed their food, laundry soap, perfume, shampoo, literally nothing has changed except the TIDY Cats litter quality. Purina/Tidy Cats - You just lost a very loyal and extremely high volume purchase customer. Whatever changes you made, revert them for the sake of all of the cats out there and their health..
