It works. Less dust than the cheaper stuff. The packaging is terrible. Loose litter in the box. No bag, no jug. Wish they would go back to the two 20lb jugs. I can't carry this to the basement, but I could carry the jugs one at a time. Now with the loose litter, I have to scoop it into another container to carry down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cat litter by its nature won't stay fresh for long. Usually that's the case but this Glade scented litter stays nicer longer. It's not overpowering where the cats don't like it. This is a good litter that won't stink up your small living spaces.

I'm not sure what has changed recently, but I have used tidy cats glade clumping litter for over 8 years and I have never had quality control problems like this... Random large chunks of what I at first thought looked like drywall (very clearly isn't in pictures) and the color randomly became several shades darker with recently boxes purchased (10 total). See details below and see images for reference. First let me give you a little background information. I have 6 cats, 3 of which I've had for a little over 8 years and the other 3 were additions in the recent years following. I have used tidy cats litter for all 8 years of my original 3 cats lives. Never had issues with hair loss, excessively itching, runny noses, watery eyes, sneezing, etc. The first time I got a box with darker litter in color was around 1/25/25 and it had NO blue glade scented particles and it was extremely dusty. The clumping action was half as good as normal and urine clumps just immediately fall apart and mixed into the fresh litter throughout the day. I had only used this box of litter in my orange cats litter box that is kept separate from the others. Once I added the new litter I immediately saw the color difference, lack of scent, and no blue particles. Within a day, my orange cat literally started sneezing, his nose was always super wet/runny, eyes watery, and he was excessively clawing his face open because he was so itchy. His chin had a patch of red skin that was clearly irritated and his fur was missing (the area was about the size of a dime). I immediately dumped the litter in the trash, scrubbed his litter box and opened another box I had (I always keep a few) and it was scented and light grey in color, like it should be. After changing the litter out, the urine clumps held together and my cat stopped sneezing, excessively itching and clawing his skin open. I figured this was a one off because like I said I've used this product for 8 years without problems.. Fast forward to this month (4/17/25), I purchased 10 boxes of tidy cats clumping glade litter on sale, a week or so ago, and little did I know that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is the darker color with extremely high dust and poor clumping properties (however they did have the blue glade particles and scent so I went ahead and used 2 boxes and swapped the litter out for the month). Now all 6 of my cats are scratching constantly and sneezing. My orange tabby once again clawed his face open not even a day of swapping out the litter in the box... I'm so incredibly disappointed in the recent quality... My fur babies deserve better litter that doesn't cause them to have watery eyes, wet noses, sneeze from large amounts of dust, lose patches of fur, and excessively itch to the point of wounds and lost fur. I got my orange cat just under 3 years ago and have never had skin or raspatory issues with him. I haven't changed their food, laundry soap, perfume, shampoo, literally nothing has changed except the TIDY Cats litter quality. Purina/Tidy Cats - You just lost a very loyal and extremely high volume purchase customer. Whatever changes you made, revert them for the sake of all of the cats out there and their health..

I did not see that they had changed the packaging! Ordered online for contactless pickup and when I got home found out that they no longer put the 40 pounds in two separate jugs so that I could carry one at a time into the house. To add insult to injury, one of the boxes had been torn so that litter was all over the trunk of my car. I guess it is time to find another product!

Almost five stars!!!! Keep in mind, we buy this almost exclusively for our household of two cats. It is a super product. We buy multiple boxes when it goes on sale. One star is deducted because it does track outside of the litter box, and sometimes the dust is inconsistent (some boxes have a lot of dust and some do not, although we saw a big improvement in dust in the past 5 months or so of use). For the price and quality, we will continue to buy! No one can tell we have cats or where the litter box is (no smells). If we never used another competitors product called clump and seal, it would be 5 stars. In fact, I feel bad not giving it 5 stars….. as we always purchase and use. And, we will continue to buy because of the great value!

Once again, Purina cat litter has failed. The Glade Spring Clean is NOT clean. The urine did not clump; it settled through the litter. The odor from the urine-saturated litter was nasty, and the nasty litter was unsanitary. No matter how slowly I scooped, clouds of dust billowed from the litterbox. I am trying the 24/7 Performance, hoping it will live up to its name. So far it is, but it's been only one day since I dumped out the GladeSpring litter and replaced the litterbox. Just so nasty. ADDENDUM: We have decided to use a different brand of cat litter, as our experience with the Purina brand has been so unsatisfactory. Continuing to use a failed product just makes no sense.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried others, less expensive, new and supposedly better- my cat will refuse to use the litter box! This keeps the scent controlled and makes it easier for daily cleaning. My cat gives it five stars and so do I!
