Tide works well at getting tough stains out of our clothes on the first wash and leaves a clean fresh scent. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Awful smelly scents come right out and not to mention the stains, those stains come right out leaving their clothes spotless ! I am truly satisfied with this detergent, its my #1 choice !

Grew up with Tide, served in the Air Force with Tide, moved across the country and Tide was always a scent that felt like home. It was a clean not overpowering fragrance that has been like a comfort I and then we relied on, but no more. Tide has changed, it’s not right. The first one I got home, I smelled it and returned it because I thought it was bad, then I just thought I was going nuts, now I see from other reviews it’s just changed. What a bummer, no longer with I be buying Tide.

Why? Just a simple question...why take a product that has decades of success and make such a radical change to the scent profile? I thought I was buying the same stuff I had used for years. I did one load of sheets and had to get up at 1AM to take the sheets off the bed and pillows because the scent was overwhelming. It gave me an irritated throat and a headache. I couldn't even bear to have the sheets on the floor in the same room. A barely there scent is what clean laundry should smell like. I don't want my sheets smelling so intensely that it wakes me up at night. And I certainly don't want whatever is left behind on the clothes next to my skin all day or being stronger than any scent I choose to wear. I'm sorry to say this improvement is a huge fail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tide is a geat product. It leaves clothes smelling soooo fresh. I tested it with hot and cold water and could not tell the difference. I had some stains on a shirt and they came right out. Would definitely recommend and I intend to buy again!!

Tide is awesome for its great cleaning properties but unfortunately, shipping from Sam's is terrible! Half the bottle was spilt as lid was not firmly closed, drenching other items in box. Sam's, PLEASE make sure lids are taped closed before shipping as it is not a great bargain after losing half of it in box! Now, I have to do a return! What a waste of time and product.

Although I do wish the scent was stronger, it definitely does do a great job at cleaning clothes and linens! You don’t need to use a lot for a full load of laundry and I feel like everything that gets washed comes out softer!

A household staple. Gets clothes clean, keeps them fresh and just does exactly what you want laundry detergent to do. I will admit I’m more of a fan of the scent of gain (there is absolutely nothing wrong with the scent of tide) but for whatever reason tide still wins when it comes time to purchase.

That sealed the deal for me. Growing up, my mom was 100% brand loyal to Tide. She even uses it today--the POWDER version (still!). I had switched to unscented detergents in the past several years, but on a whim decided to try Tide Original again. I had forgotten how much I missed the scent. It reminds me of my childhood and I'm sticking with it. Why mess with a good thing?
