Preforms as you would expect it to and actually gets the laundry clean with a lasting fresh scent. Used it directly on stains prior to washing and didn't let me down.

I washed it with less than what is recommended and the stains were removed (I would say they are almost non existent but still noticeable up close).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm never disappointed when it comes to Tide detergent. The original scent is plenty of scent for my laundry leaving it smelling fresh and clean. It's easy to pour from the bottle into the lid to measure it and you honestly don't need much on a standard load so it lasts a long time. It smells good in the bottle and on your clothing once washed. Not overpowering or perfumey. Does a great job of getting your laundry clean too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right after getting this edition of Tide, my cat got into a big bin of off season clothes and... Let's say desecrated them. Mistook them for a litter box. It was BAD. I wash at the Laundromat and was wanting to try the cold water feature, but praying I wasn't about to waste money and have to rewash. Hot can sometimes cook the stains right in though, so I gave it a shot. Without softener, beads, or anything extra, just an appropriate amount of this detergent, the smells came right out and everything was as good as before! I have a sharp nose, I'm picky, and that's a really distinct smell, so I'm reminded of why I used to use nothing but Tide. Back to being a Tide only house!

Boy, was I wrong. Not only does the Tide seem to get the stains and dirt out on the first wash, it also leaves my family's clothes fresh smelling. Definitely staying with Tide!

Only negative: the scent can be REALLY overwhelming if you are sensitive to that. I mostly use "Original" Tide for things like towels, rugs, and sofa blankets; items that I don't wear close to my body all day long since the scent starts to bother me after a while.

The smell is so familiar and you know you are using the best. Tide leaves the clothes feeling soft and clean. You can no go wrong with this brand you will never be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using Tide for years and it's simply the best there is. It's the only brand that TRULY gets your clothes clean and your whites whiter. Working in a greenhouse I can get pretty filthy and Tide does an excellent job of keeping my clothes looking new. My husband works around jet fuel all day and comes home smelling like an airplane tarmac. I throw his uniforms into the wash with a cap of Tide and they come out smelling nice and fresh! You can't beat it!

These placemats were new and have a red pattern so they must be washed in cold water. The Tide did an amazing job on totally removing the wine stains and leaving the colors intact.
