I find it nearly impossible to read how full the measuring cap is after its color was changed to dark blue, which coincidentally is almost the same color as the detergent. The product used to have a silver cap and I could easily see how much detergent I was using. I'm a born sceptic, so I tend to assume the worst, i.e. Tide changed the color of the top to increase product usage. Change it back to silver and all will be forgiven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally use laundry pods instead of liquid detergent for convenience, but I recently gave Tide original liquid detergent a try. My clothes came out clean and smelling great. I usually use a laundry scent booster, too, but I don’t need it when using tide liquid because the laundry comes out with a nice scent from the detergent alone. I like the 100 ounce size because it lasts a long time but isn’t too big and unwieldy.

I have always used regular tide for many years. I now have a new washer and dryer and have changed to the Tide HE detergent. Am real satisfied with that too. However, I have always soaked my whites and want to continue to do so. But I don't know how to do this with this new machine.

I have two small children, and my fiancee is a fireman, so we have a lot of dirty clothes. Tide gets the stains out better than anything else I've ever used. The cap is totally different than the old bottle. I love that it's see through and the numbers are on the outside and easy to see for the levels. Its easy to pour and when you put the cap back on, it doesn't drip all over you like the old cap. The detergent still has its refreshing classic clean scent. It rinsed out of the clothes completely and when they dried, they smelled clean and fresh. They were also soft and easy to fold. I would definitely buy this exact bottle again. It lasts a long time and love the new design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Tide Original Liquid Detergent on clothing which incurs a lot of sweat and odor, using Tide in cold water I was skeptical that the odor would leave. Well, I must admit the clothing smelled very clean and there was no odor lingering after washing. Knowing now that washing clothes in cold water can come out smelling just as clean as washing clothes in warm water, I'm sold. With this knowledge not only would I have clean-smelling clothes washed in cold water, but I will also be saving on my water bill.
