Love the TV.. Great picture and sound. The only reasons I can't give 5 stars are the remote and having to go through seemingly endless menus. The remote default to the bouncy cursor is most annoying and really unneeded. If the TV simply defaulted to the live TV setting, it would be an improvement.

Negative: WEB OS is super slow, some time you need to wait 10 seconds to open settings or apps, not all apps are available on WEB OS, Installation of apps fails many time. Great tv! We upgraded from a 20 year old tv so this was a huge improvement. Great picture and the deep blacks are much better. Video games look great on it…probably not the right tv for competitive gamers. Reducing by one star as the interface can be slow and lagging at times. Overall very happy with the tv!

NEED A INSTRUCTION BOOKLET!!

I love the picture but I still can't figure out how to use 1/2 the features on the remote!! I had to enlarge the info that came with the remote I could hardly read the tiny print to figure them out ! I spent two hours trying to get the voice to stop every time I changed channels. You really need some type of instruction book!!!

Had some issues connecting to Amazon Fire Cube. Needed the LG remote and the Fire Cube remote, using HDMI 2. Needed LG remote to get to GCI Yukon TV, here in Anchorage.. Called the hotline and was walked through the steps to control the TV with just the Fire Cube remote. There are a few times the LG remote is still required, notably LG menu screens.

But after some manual tweaks to the picture quality I am satisfied with the quality. I was not liking the ghosting that appeared with football movement but I could correct that. I purchased this bc the price was right. For my purposes I did not want to pay for a QLED. Way over my budget. I could have found cheaper but I did still want a quality TV.

Great picture but firmware needs improvement

The mouse curse on the magic remote is a great and so is the picture. The issue we have is the firmware and sometimes it's slowness to respond to commands. Sometimes it's fast sometimes it can take up to 20 seconds to go into the app center. Don't know if our latest firmware actually needs another update but we recommend the tv overall as a B+.

Great picture but has some quirks

We purchased this TV in Nov, 2023, and for the most part, performance has been very good, although the remote control operation is sometimes quirky, and we recently started having a streaming issue. Remote control operation does NOT always work smoothly, especially with Amazon Prime where navigating through shows and making a selection can be a crap shoot, as the cursor seems to time-out too quickly. The recent streaming issue appears to be related to the lack of a dedicated app for Acorn TV, forcing us to use a web link to get to the website. This worked OK until 2 to 3 weeks ago when the web app started crashing about 10 to 15 minutes into the show we were watching. The TV would display a message similar to "this app must be closed to free up memory". We would then be given the option of restarting the app from where it crashed, or starting it over. We would start again from when it crashed, but it would crash again in 5 to 10 minutes, and do this repeatedly, which was very annoying.

It took several phone calls, including a two hour long session with a tech in the Philippines to get the TV to work. The remote cursor is extremely annoying and difficult to control. Once a program starts don't touch it! You will lose your place and have to start all over. The picture is good though and it seems to connect to the internet okay.
