Getting better and better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had LG TVs throughout the years as well as other brands. LG operating system has always been my favorite and throughout the years it has only gotten better. It gets more streamlined and simpler to use, expanding app selection, and the interconnectivity with other LG products makes it so amazing. The picture quality improves each time as well. The dimensions of the TV, especially how thin and flat they are make them easy to place and make it a breeze to use a wall mount with.

Reliable TV

Bought this TV when we were changing cable providers. The TV has a beautiful picture and sound. The TV was easy to mount on a wall mount and worked seamlessly with the new provider's equipment. This is the third LG TV purchased in 15 years and all continue to work well.

good value

Picture and sound are good. Connected easily with my LG soundbar. Set up was easy. Navigation between cable and streaming services is simple and intuitive. Only issue I have noticed is slow to start up and connect with my cable box. Slower than I am used to when navigating like pulling up channel line up. Love the magic remote.

Great for Price but picture is dim

Great tv for the price. The main complaint I have is that I turned it as bright as possible, and it still is way to dim when the show is a nighttime scene. Most other tv's I have can see night scenes well, but this TV makes it hard to tell what is happening.

Hey there, we are glad to hear you got the bang for your buck! When it comes to the picture quality for night scenes, we don't recommend turning your brightness all the way up, as this will make the contrast more difficult to see. We suggest turning off any overhead lights and potentially getting a backlight to help the eyes adjust to darker scenes. You may also want to look into your owner's manual and adjust the display mode. We hope this helps! http://spr.ly/6420uqJ8j ~Tegan

All in all a fine home theatre type TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mounting provisions make the TV difficult to place on a console. Some type of center support or legs that are a bit closer together than 60 inches would help. It is not easy to connect up an older surround sound arrangement with the set. I am going to try an optic audio cable for this but haven't had the chance to do so yet. The controls take some getting used to.

GREAT PICTURE

We love the picture and ease of using this TV. We have problems with the audio output. The sound is sometimes muffled and hard to understand. In working with some of the internal settings, we have not been able to improve. Not being "sound savvy" means that we don't understand the balance scale and what the different levels mean. We have spent a lot of time experimenting with the sound settings. Sad to say that we may have to purchase a sound bar, which we were not wanting to do after the investment in the TV. We don't understand why sound quality is not (1) more adjustible, (2) tone adjustible, and (3) clarity is more adjustible.

43inches of sharp viewing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after an older model essentially stopped working. What a difference. Clearer contrast. Better sound. Easier remote. And price point was affordable. Just in time for Super Bowl, this was a wise purchase.

Big TV on the wall

Price and Size a Win-Win. I had been wanting to upgrade from my 13yr old Samsung 55" that I paid $700. Here is LG's 70" @ $500, that is HDR10, 4k, Two HDMI eARC and WiFi5. And at 61lbs. I was able hang it on my wall, no issues. The picture is very good: saturation, no blooming, and color accurate. I did do my own calibration to fit my viewing needs: Sports & Movies. In doing my research, I drooled for the OLED, but I can't justify a TV beyond a $1k, good luck finding a 70" OLED for less than $2k. So in looking at alternatives, the UR8000 series fit my needs and at $500!!! Best yet, I was able to find the LG S80QY soundbar & subwoofer for $270 on Woot. This combination is so satisfying for sports and movies. Cost for system? $986: wall mount, TV, Soundbar, surge protector, HDMI cables and I couldn't be any happier.
