Dust is everywhere when the furnace is on in the winter, and again in the summer with the air on. I love the flexibility and reach. It can get into places you didn't think possible. It is safe to use around my figurines and other precious items. Even in places where you don't think it dusty, it picks it up and you can see it clearly. I also use it gently on my plants leaves to clean the dust there too. My plants can breathe better!!I love using it under furniture where you cannot vacuum or sweep. Swiffer is one of the best inventions ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the title says it all - my new Swiffer Starter Pack featuring the Swiffer Duster made my spring cleaning ridiculously easy! When I received it, I was really impressed by the packaging. The duster contained 3 refills, which was perfect, because I knew with the amount of dust on my ceiling fans, I'd probably be going through the dusters pretty quickly - I have such a hard time reaching the ceiling fans to dust! The duster itself was super easy to extend and retract - the buttons worked very well and easily. I loved using the Swiffer Duster to clean! I was able to easily reach my ceiling fans and high spaces, but it also worked very well on lower spaces, such as the tops of book shelves and dressers. I deducted one star because I wasn't super impressed with the Dust Lock technology - I definitely saw some large chunks of dust coming off of my fans and falling on my floor. It wasn't a major negative for me - I was going to vacuum after anyway - but I was a little disappointed to see how much wasn't picked up by the dusters. Nevertheless, I was really impressed by how my fans and house looked after using the Swiffer Duster. I can definitely foresee myself picking up additional refills. I thought the duster was easy to use and effectively cleaned my house, despite my disappointment with seeing chunks of dust not sticking to the duster. Overall, this was a win to me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the easiest way to clean a ceiling fan. You just press the button and it flips sideways and then you run the duster along the blades. It's great for cobwebs in the corners, especially the ceiling ones where you can't reach. Never knew just how much dust collects anywhere until you use this and that little duster is so dirty. Highly recommend.

When I first got it, I put it on my desk and was going to wait until the weekend to try it with my other cleaning but my daughter got ahold of it and she cleaned the blinds in the house along with the tops of the ceiling fans. The dust literally just stuck right to it without flakes coming down. I was amazed. As I watched her do this to each of the 4 fans, I had to stop her because I knew I needed to try it. It is so easy to use with the flexible head, the length is perfect for nearly anyone to use and it does it's job very well. Overall definitely a 5 star product that made my life easier by not only doing what it is supposed to but also by enticing my daughter to clean :)

I was given this product for free to try and all that was asked was for an unbiased review. I am not a fan of dusting since I am short I have to climb up and down chairs and step ladders. The extending arm feature made dusting so much easier. I was impressed with the reach and the ease to dust items. I used it on my ceiling fans I couldn't believe how easy it was. I used it on my wood blinds and they were cleaned with ease. I would recommend this product to people who are looking for dusting to be easier.

It collected all the dust and didn't spread it all around like other dusters I have used in the past. The dust just clung to the Swiffer and when I was finished I just tossed it and put on a new one. It made dusting a pleasure. I wasn't sneezing and having to re-dust everything all over again. And using it for my ceiling fan was great. no need to re-dust anything that was underneath it. The dust just clung like magic. The extendable handle was also great, being that I'm short, it helped me reach those hard places that I usually have to stand on a chair for. I would recommend Swiffer to anyone and everyone.

The extending handle makes it easy to clean ceiling fans, light fixtures, tops of cabinets, you name it! It comes in handy considering I am barely 5ft tall I don't have to get out the step ladder!

It's so nice not having to drag out the stool and rag and hope it doesn't fall all over the floor. The Swiffer Duster makes cleaning fans a breeze. Just simply extend it, swipe, and all the dust stays trapped. No need to sweep the floor afterwards. I definitely recommend the Duster for hard to reach places and people who don't like spending a lot of time dragging around a bulky stool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it's warm out, and your ceiling fans are blowing 24/7, well, you can't see the dust that is accumulating. But once the cold weather sets in, and the fans are turned off ... uh oh. The amount of dust I found on my daughter's ceiling fan in her room was really embarrassing, but the old dust wand I had was broken, so I couldn't get up there to clean it. Then I got the Swiffer Dusters Starter Kit, and now her fan (and the three other fans in our house) are clean and dust-free. The wand can be lengthened or shortened depending on what you need, and I love that the duster head can be angled. It's especially useful for fan dusting - if you put the head at a 90 degree angle, you can use the bottom of the duster for the top of the fan and the top of the duster for the bottom of the fan. I used the two refills that came with the kit for our other fans ... now my only problem is I need to go to the store to buy more refills! It's also great for everyday dusting - no more bending down to get lower shelves or getting a step stool to reach the higher corners.
