We're sorry to hear this, since our products go through many quality checks to ensure that you can use them with ease. We'll be sure to share this with our team, and we recommend making sure that the prongs on the handle are being inserted into the duster sleeves. For our Heavy Duty Dusters, the sleeves can be found between the fluffy layers, in the center of the duster cloth. We hope this helps, and please give us a call at (800) 214-8734 if there's anything more we can assist you with.
