It was delivered on 5/19 but it had the wrong pedestals (which I know was not your fault) they were ordered and came on 5/25. Your guys came out and installed it checked it and all was fine. I washed one load which was great but the second load did not finish the dry cycle and came up with the code d80. One of your guys came out and made sure it was installed correctly which it was. They ran the dryer check and all was fine. I tried to was another load and the same thing happened one load good and the next bad. I Had someone clean out the vent. Ran the check and all was well. The next load again came up with d80. I have washed 5 loads and got this code on 3 of them. I have finally gotten some one to come out on Tuesday so we shall see. The check cycle still says it is fine. So from 4/17 until 6/49 I have done my laundry at my daughters house. Sorry to give this type of review but I am frustrated.

First of all they are gorgeous to look at, it’s not a monstrous but it does have a good capacity. I recently purchased and returned the GE because it’s size amongst other things. The LG dryer gets the drying cycle just right. The steam function is awesome and works great. So far I am really happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dryer for all the frills it has but also expecting it to do its basic function of drying. The dryer stops half way through any cycle giving a dirty lint filter error. I have cleaned the whole exhaust line and no issues with dust or lint there. I have to trick the programs and dry for a long time to get it to dry properly each time. So much for technology. I will be returning this soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the features and the look of this dryer. I love that it connects to my phone and lets me know when the load is done. I also love the Wrinkle Care option which keeps it moving every few minutes after the load is dried so that nothing gets wrinkled. I have noticed that sometimes the Normal dry mode doesn't get all of the clothes as dry as I like them. So I use the Heavy Duty dry more often than the Normal. It gets the job done nicely. I love the song at the end of the cycle. It gets stuck in your head all day. LOL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was installed in our apartment a few months ago and it works well. My only note to improve the next version would be to make the light corresponding to the cycle a bit clearer as to which one it is pointing to. Perhaps the cycle name itself should light up to make it easier to figure out. I always have to start from the first cycle and work my way around to be sure it's on the right one.

I purchased this electric dryer a couple of weeks ago. It's stylish and works great. The only disappointment is that it only connects to a 2.4GHz wifi network and mine is 5.0GHz so it won't connect. Hopefully LG has a firmware update for that before long, as most networks are going 5GHz.

I bought this dryer to match the LG washing machine which I also bought to replace my old one, based mainly on Consumer Reports recommendations. They both suck compared to my previous machines. I waited until I had used the machines for a couple of months, and spent some quality time with LG help line, before reviewing. - First, the standard height of washers and dryers apparently has been increased, I guess in order to accommodate all the additional useless features or the wifi that I don't use (because it would be one more thing to have to fix, I have some experience with so-called "smart" appliances). This increase in height necessitated remodeling my laundry room, since my workspace needed to be raised to accommodate this new model. - The drum is much too big now. Once you sort clothes by color, type, temperature, etc, you want to be able to do several smaller loads, not one humongous load. - The biggest con is that the dryer does not have a sensor to signal when clothes are dry. If it decides that the clothes need 55 minutes, then my god it will bake your clothes for 55 minutes, whether they are already dry or not. My previous dryer would beep as soon as ANY of the clothes were dry, and I could take them out and continue the cycle with the rest. This dryer does not. - Also a big con is that the dryer is very rough on clothes. I have had clothes damaged by the dryer. - And on top of that, this dryer leaves them wrinkled! Maybe because of the baking tendency noted above. I have tried various settings. And no I do not leave the clothes in the washer for long after washing, I transfer them soon after. And I use dryer balls. And remove clothes promptly from dryer. (My old dryer did also have an automatic feature at end of cycle to cool down and continue tossing if clothes were dry and you did not remove immediately, this one does not). - The manual is useless, it does not even give the cycle options/instructions for use, only troubleshooting. You are obliged to look online. I have cleaners, and airbnbs staying here and using the machines, so they need to have more intuitive and logical dashboard. - Finally, instead of just a quick beep to signal the end of the cycle, the dryer plays an irritating song. So no I cannot recommend this dryer (or the matching washer). It is difficult to imagine that LG ever tested this dryer with consumers, there are so many things wrong with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few weeks ago, had previously owned LG products which was one of the main reasons for this purchase. Clothes dry much faster, love the wrinkle control feature along with all the other features.

We like the new Washer & Gas Dryer from LG. First-time LG appliance purchase except for a refrigerator existing in home we purchased (and that is workhorse). Design and style played a part (color, shape, ease-of-use) and thus far about 45 days in it is working very nicely. Quick cycle and load sensor are nice features.
