[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying hours of tv time watching old shows with Samsung tv plus. This TV gives me hours or entertainment. Only con is the lack of backlight on the remote. I was impressed on the fade out when turn the tv off

I asked to open the box before I bought it due to the fact it was retaped. I was told I couldn't open it before I bought it and assured it was new. The box looked ok other than it was taped over. There was no special tag or statement paper stating it was used. So I bought the samsung 55 CU7000D, and when I opened the box, it was clearly a return and used. The remote (different batteries installed), power cable, and all the inside parts were torn out of their bags. Screen Protector was The box looked ok other than it was taped over. It was not pristine as Samsung TVs normally are, but had fingerprints and dust on the tv. The Tv appears to work fine and has good video output. It's just not new. Now I need to box it up and return it.
