DIDN'T TASTE LIKE CRAB AT ALL..WAS FISHY SMELLING N TASTING...DIDT LIKE IT

Sadly it was terrible. hardly had any actual lump crab meat rinsedit 3 times. Terrible smell of tuna.

The taste was was fresh and it worked well in a minimal light dressing in a crab tower appetizer. Would have gotten 5 stars but not 100% jumbo lump…

Be careful. expiration was months in the future. This was tainted product. I opened it at home and could not get the rancid smell out of my house. I clearly bought mis-handled product which was dangerous if someone tried to eat it.

So sorry that I bought this crab. It did not have a crab taste at all. It was gray in color, not a hint of the normal red outline, and not good . I wasted the other ingredients r by trying ti use it for crab cakes.

The packaging is a bit deceiving. Looking at it, you see the lump crab. Upon opening, there’s lump crab on the top, middle is almost shredded and then more lump crab at the bottom. It’s not 1lb of lump crab. Very disappointing!

I was skeptical about purchasing this crabmeat. I tasted some of the crabmeat after opening the can. To my surprise, the crabmeat had a quality taste. I made crab cakes from them.

The crab meat was good but i did find some of the shell pieces still in the meat. I am not sure how to check to get them out before adding to the dish.

If I could rate this a zero, I would! It was very fishy and strong tasting. I ruined a pot of chowder by using this product. I was able to return the remaining crabmeat for a refund. The associate behind the counter was very helpful and kind.

Figured that I’d give this a try since the price was reasonable. The crab meat was packaged well and had a long expiration date. The crab meat is from Indonesia. Made crab cakes that came out salty from the crab.
