Battery lasts for more than a couple shaves. The head assembly is strangely locked though, you have to pull if off directly which may seem unnerving initially. Also not a fan of moving heads but may be that's personal more than objective.

I thought they were supposed to last much longer? I have a normal to light beard, and I clean the shaver regularly.

The blades should indeed last longer, certainly when shaving a normal to light beard. The performance of your shaver might have declined because it is dirty. There can be hair or dirt particles stuck inside it, causing the shaving heads to don’t function correctly.
